Well I am officially off work for the remainder of my pregnancy. It kind of feels good, but now I don't know what to do with myself!

Well I am officially off work for the remainder of my pregnancy. It kind of feels good, but now I don't know what to do with myself!

I am glad too. She didn't hesitate at all to recommend me for leave, so I am satisfied that I didn't have to push anything. Not that I would have, but I was getting so stressed out about having to miss work for the headaches. Now that I don't have to stress, I am hoping the headaches die down a bit!

And I have a trip to look forward to!!!

Hopefully the rest of your morning has had less drama!

It is funny how different they can be. Pudge's mom got sick not long after he was born and she brought him home to me, then that was the last time I saw Kinky. Sorry I am downer here.



Good Morning. Not a problem, my husband is the same way. Sometimes they are just as bad as our kids only worse. You know? I always have drama in the morning Chrissie. You know you might be better off getting a kitten so that it can learn that the bird is family.

I really would rather find an adult. Our pound is full of them, it is so sad. People really need to spay/neuter their pets. Not to is completely irresponsible. It breaks my heart to see them, they all just want love. And kittens are pretty hyper and like to climb and claw. And i have new furniture that i really like. and clawing it could really get on my bad side quick! i know adult cats can claw as well, but maybe an adult would not be as bad. and the bird is pretty smart, i don't think she would let the cat get her. and her cage is pretty high and quite big. so, i don't know. i can't decide what to do.

Our green cheek was a clever fellow, he copied my husband whistle that he uses for the dog. He would do the whistle and get the dog all excited and thinking daddy was calling her.

I was once told that if you have a squirt bottle a quick squirt of water will help cure a cat of a bad habit. I agree with adopting the adult animals. our's is a green cheek. that is one smart bird. she can copy the sound are security system makes. and if DH forgets to give her a pecan in the morning and she hears him walking down the steps and open the door to leave she throws a fit! and she loves to dance, at DD's bday party last night. those girls had her dancing, she will copy whatever they do. and when we sit down to eat, she has to have a little of whatever we are eating. sunday morning breakfast she has scrambled eggs and toasted english muffin.and she loves iced tea, she sit on the edge of DH's iced tea glass and drinks it. i could go on and on. i feel the same about that bird as you and Jenn with your kitties. she just makes me smile.

Our sun does the dancing and really loves it when Joe Jonas sings. Whenever our 16 year old is listening to the Joe Jonas she dances and is in a great mood. If Nick Jonas sings she screams about it. It is rather comical. Of all things she loves popcorn.

sun's are so beautiful. If the breeder we got our green cheek would of had baby sun's we would have gotten one. I keep thinking about getting another green cheek. but i'm not sure how the one we have now would take to a roommate. We were at petco saturday and they had several conure's. i always have to stop and talk to them. those poor birds looked terrible. you could see where they were plucking and pulling at their feathers. i can imagine the stress on those poor birds from being there and having people walk by and tap on the glass and torment them. it made me sad.
