I'm swell. Took the kids to play at Bass Pro shop. Such a cool store. Thier prices aren't too bad either. I've gotten some really cool shirts there for under $20. I like to explore there hiking/camping section. The kids like to test the boats and look at the fish.

Played Rock Band (the first one) with the kids this evening. They all had a blast. It's hard to play with Little Monkey cause he dosen't quite get it and gets booed off stage. Even if I play supurbly, we can't finish the song. So far I think the best way to play with him is to take turns on the drums.

Thanks for the love tdashgirl

That sounds fun.

Poor Little Monkey. What about setting it so he can't get booed off the stage?

I'm fairly certain I won't get a responce to this until tomorrow sometime but, how do you learn to ski/snowboard? Which is easier to learn? I can roller skate and ice skate. Where is a fairly local place to us that has a good value and decent teachers?

Thank goodness someone was able to help you. All I would have been able to do is suggest going to any local place that rents skis because I am sure that they could answer those questions.

Happy Sunday!! Work wasn't horrible, but it wasn't fantastic either. I was in the worst of moods leading up to it and kind of having a panic attack. Sigh. I did still make it home 45 minutes early though. So this is a plus. I'm munching on some food and waiting for my PJ's in the dryer than I am off for what I hope is more then 2 1/2 hours of sleep this week.

But :wave2:

Hi!!

Good morning everyone. Is everyone having a lazy Sunday?

So I have a favor for all of my Disney Pals. Disney Junior is having a photo contest. I entered Little Monkey. If you go the the Disney Family site and click on the contest, you can look at boys pictures and vote for Little Monkey playing in the Tress, his picture may win a spot on Disney Junior.

Cool! I will go look for it and vote!

I'm doing OK actually. Got a bit more sleep than I have in a while. Just waiting to hear back from my cousin on what time I'm going over there so she can do my hair!!

You?

I'm okay. I cannot seem to get warm this morning. If the fog ever goes away I might. Argh, my kingdom for some sun.

Oh my gosh!! This fog is ridiculous, isn't it? I think it's lifted here a little. Our curtains are drawn so I can't tell. But driving to work last night was fuh-reaky!!

Good morning. Rock Band was on the easiest setting (we're still playing with the first rock band). He had a blast, and learned how to take turns. His attention span isn't fully developed yet, by the time his turn is over, he's ready to let sissy have a turn.

Hubby is trying to lower our out going cash. He has decided that we (I) don't need the super gym, the regular gym will work just fine. I'm okay with that. Then he suggests I check out fitness 19. It's a lot cheaper, $25 a month including child care. Then he suggests a home gym. So after a little research, I think that the Total Gym (the one Chuck Norris and Christy Brinkley sell) will work splendidly. And believe it our not, their site is the cheapest we can get it. The newest most ellabrate model is under $1000.

That got me thinking about some other exersice at home plans I've seen. Their is one I can't remeber what it's called. It's marketed to sell to those already in somewhat good shape but designed to really shed the fat.

WBG was out on his bike last night mountain biking. Talk about crazy, he says it was white out conditions in a lot of places.

what are you thinking for style/color?

Hehe ;) It's gonna be a surprise. I'll post before/after photos. I'm kind of excited. I want a little change right now.

That's what it was like at my house. It got better as I got closer to work but here it was bad. But that's what happens near water, lol. I can't imagine being on a bike in it. But I don't get along with bikes all that well.

I wish we had room at home for a personal gym. I would so have one. Especially a treadmill.

I went and voted on Disney Family!!

We have a stationary bike that we'd like to get up and running again. It's been on our front porch for the longest time

I think I talked my dad into moving it into my sister's room now that she's packed up even more of her stuff and she's back at school. If we can I'm totally using it. And then when it warms up I'm going to start running. I want to be able to run/jog the whole 5K. I know I can walk/run the whole thing quickly, but I would like to be able to run when I'm not stopping for a photo here or there.

Make that jog *cough*

I know it's gonna be blue!!:lmao:

I am not one for getting on the bike myself. Especially not in the fog. He tells me he is training to make his racing better, I think he is going through his second childhood. Which is fine, he can live his on his bikes and I will live mine in Disneyland. Thank you very much.

Frankly the riding in the fog in a somewhat wilderness area where mountain lions have been sighted is craziness as far as I am concerned.

It shall now be named the 5k photo op.:rotfl:

You've each got your own thing to enjoy ;) It's all good. But I am with you on that is just absolute craziness!!

I'm horrible with bikes. Did I ever tell you about the time I got my foot caught in the spokes on the tire when I was a kid?

Oh now, Michele. My life is a photo op.

The total gym isn't very big, about 8' by 2'. From the reviews I've read it does a great job for those wanting to shed fat and build muscle tone. Not the best for big body building, but I'm not into that.

Thanks for the vote:thumbsup2 I'm sure I'm biased, but I thinks he's the cutest boy ever!!!

Good luck, I can't stand running. I thinks it's because I'm hyper sensitive when it comes to my body, I have extra jiggly bits and can really feel them bouncing along with me when I run. I'm a bit self consious about that. I can just see an image of myself (blown way out of proportion) running along the beach in so-mo, body parts flopping all over the place in a comic version of bay watch.

Well, I had a hard time deciding between green and blue. ;)

No, you didn't. Kacy hates bicycles. Her and her brother got tangled on their bikes one day just a couple of weeks after she got her braces. They crashed and she broke her hand, broke one of her front teeth, cracked the other, got stitches under her chin, had a concussion and broke her helmet upon landing. That was when Scotty started wearing a helmet.

I know it is. I know that you love your camera and you love showing the world your art.

The funny thing is I used to love to run, and even ran track in junior high. I almost continued into high school but that was when I joined the swim team and I couldn't do both. I'm hoping I can get to that point of enjoying it again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

:lmao: What great guesses. It's like your on to my plan to mix them together and go teal.

Oh my goodness! Glad she was OK and she had that helmet on. And that it wisened up WBG in the helmet department. As for me, my idiot neighbor when I was a kid decided to take me on a bike with her while she was baby sitting me when I was in 2nd grade. She had a little thing on the back of her bike and she had me sit on it. I wasn't in a position to say no, lol. Well, I don't even remember what happened but I'm guessing I tried to put my foot down while she was going down a hill and the next thing I know we're on the pavement, my ankle is caught in the spokes and I'm screaming bloody murder. Thankfully a neighbor heard and had wire cutters to get my foot loose. I ended up with a nasty sprain and lots of bruises. I still actually have a scar on my ankle from it.

I know it is. I know that you love your camera and you love showing the world your art.

:goodvibes I does. I does. And I still want to get better.

Honestly I don't have that much space right now. We need to get rid of a lot of stuff. There are years of stuff gathered that I just need to say it just isn't that important and throw it away. Then I would have room.

Man, my dad thinks this is us. My sister had hoarders on the other day and it freaked him out. We had to toss a lot of stuff. But we did finally get rid of a broken TV that's been blocking a big window for a couple of years.
