I once burned RAMEN NOODLE SOUP. In a MICROWAVE! HAHA!

I had one of my many blonde moments, was texting someone on my phone while making the soup at lunch, and forgot to add water to the little container the noodles are in. I sat down at the lunch table, and soon smelled something very....interesting...like burnt popcorn with a side of hot buttcheeks...

I open the microwave and all this smoke comes out, and my noodles are black. *facepalm*

I threw the noodles away, ran out of the lunchroom, and all day at my desk I could hear people saying “someone burned something horrible in the lunchroom!” “It smells so bad in there!”

I just put my head down, and tried not to make eye contact with anyone for the rest of the day. No one ever found out it was me. LOL!!!

oh my gosh!! that is hilarious. i have made ramen at work and forgot about it and when i finally remember it's all dried up and hard. I don't like alot of broth, i just put enough water in mine to just keep the noodles moist. so it doesn't take much for it to dry back out again.

I can top burned noodles!!

Late one night I decided I needed to have hard boiled eggs so that I could make egg salad, it would be cold by the next morning perfect for a sandwich. So I put the eggs with water in the pot (the copper bottom kind). I put on a movie. . .and feel asleep. The next morning the kitch reacked of bad eggs. There was no water in the pot. The pot itself was bright red, eggs exploded all over, and the copper sepparated inself from the stainless steel. i told my physics teacher about it, he got a good laugh

Eww. Thankfully it wasn't any worse.

The good news is that will take me a long while to catch up on. I like that. I still have about 12 episodes of The Tudors left and then I will be on it!

I like having a series to catch up on.

How brilliant was Walking Dead I love it so much.... Very bizzare to see Andrew Lincoln (The main guy) being soo cool and bad a$$ cause I have loved that guy since seeing him in a british show called "This Life" and he has always played the goofy type guy lol

Absolutely brilliant, although the last show had a ton of flaws for me. I wish the season had ended stronger.

I have found MAd Men to be like Pringles - Once you pop you cant stop

cream of mushroom goes with everything. I'll bake with it, too. Usually with chicken in a rectagle pan topped with cobly jack cheese. boil up some egg noodles and put the chicken and sauce on top when you serve.

Maybe we should do a get together. Like lunch or something on the weekend. I am sure we could pick a location in the middle.

It could be like the cool kids club!

Oh my!! I'm always afraid of something like that while cooking. I end up pacing about the kitchen because if I leave something will go wrong. And yet it goes wrong anyway.

I never leave the area of the kitchen when I am cooking.

That was so much fun!! I loved getting to meet you and Laurie and Kelly. And I had a blast at RHPS with Meredith. I've met some pretty awesome people here. Jason not withstanding

I think the fact that we were such a huge group made it so much fun.

mine goes the opposite. I'll forget about them and the noodles soak up the water to the point where there's no more water in the bowl
