I wish it was a good morning

I was supposed to be at work at 6. I got up at 5, went to take my shower, and ust about passed out any time I stood up. So much for me thinking I wasn't getting sick. I feel miserable today.

Hope you get to feeling better! I know there are some bad flu's going around. The one we have going around here is the stomach flu. Yuck!

On a different subject, do you ladies ever have trouble with hangnails? I have 3 very painful ones on my fingers and they are driving me NUTS! No matter what, I always have to pull them out and then they cause the sides of my fingers to get so red and painful.

I'm not a lady, but I'm still vulnerable to hangnails, and they suck. They suck bad! One of the worst things ever. Even worse than a paper cut imo. I feel your pain!

I'm going to catch up on last night's Castle and try to drink as much water as I can.

I am a miserable sickie. I really am.

Castle and water... Sounds like my kind of morning! Except for the whole being sick thing of course! Take some vitamin C too! I could be way wrong, which I'm not... But you may be terribly malnourished.

My mom just got out of the hospital, she was in there for 2 days with the flu. She got really dehydrated at work and I had to take her there Friday, it is a nasty bug. She even got her flu shot this year and it didn’t help....

Hopefully you don’t have it. Drink plenty of fluids for sure

And I wouldn’t feel guilty if I were you! There’s a lady here at my job who literally calls in sick every week! She should feel guilty LOL!

yes, hangnails do hurt if you tear them. Do you have cuticle oil? It comes in a little bottle, I imagine you can get in about anywhere. It really helps, just rub a little onto your cuticles.

Dinner was super good!!! NO leftovers!! Not even a small bite! I worried about the scrapper thing for a while, then I just gave up and let it go. Altho I do try to get non scrapper pins if I do get one I don't get all agro over it, I just figure out what to do with the pin and move on. Usually I keep them and use them for decorating or give them as gifts.
You know, Micah was called last month, he actually did have to go to the courthouse, BUT he was called to the courthouse in FF!!!!! So why does he always get to go to FF and I get called for Vallejo? I guess I shouldn't complain too much tho, he always has to actually go in, then he normally gets released around 10 or 11 and he still has to go in to work for his regular shift. I get called for Vallejo (which sucks to get to in morning traffic!! plus I have to drop Cass off on my way and then she's standing outside in the cold for however long) but I generally get dismissed and don't actually have to go in to serve. I'm always on eBay looking at stuff, beads for jewelry making, pins, clothes.......I love eBay.

How's everyone today? I'm OK, woke up feeling icky but I'm better now. I was fighting a migraine earlier, but it seems to be gone now. I'm going to do some laundry today, woo hoo fun.......NOT! lol it's my life.....LOL Just have 1 load tho, just need to wash some sweatshirts and jeans really. Thinking about dinner, can't decide what to make tho. I think I'll work on some jewelry in a bit and I started a book last night on my Nook, so far it's good. It was a freebie. It's called Enchanting the Lady, it's a fantasy title by an author I've never ready before. It sounded good tho. And maybe, just maybe I'll come back by here before this thread hits page 70!! ROFL!!!

Currently yes. When I walked out the laundry room on sunday I screamed OMG there is crap everywhere. It was coming out of the sewer thing. It was right outside our bathroom window. It was so nasty. I called the landlord and let him know about the fecal matter but they did not get a plumber out until yesterday. Dh and I made a lot of jokes that are similar to ones in Christmas vacation. We did not use our bathroom all weekend we went to our neighbors house and for number 2's we went to McDonalds. It was quit the weekedn it did not help that Brian was sick the whole time.

I have hangnail trouble all the time! It sucks so bad and they can be very painful. I seem to have at least one or two at all times. Sorry to hear you have them too. I have been thinking about seeing if there are any lotions or anything to help prevent them.

Sorry to hear you're so sick Jazz. That's no fun. You should not feel guilty about calling in sick once after nearly 3 years! I have been having to call in almost every week since I've been pregnant cause it seems like there's always something up. So don't feel bad. Hope you start feeling better soon.
