call me crazy, but i really didn't find Capt. Kidd's to be totally revolting. It was by no means delicious or even really good. But it was edible and i didn't get the squirts or anything after eating there.

I'ld say you got lucky. They used to have a menu and staying at the hotel got you a free pancake breakfast, no sides or drinks just pancakes. The menu was actually fairly decent. We did the buffet (DH insisted). I saw them pull freashly made waffles out of the maker, they were bricks. I'm glad your meal wasn't horrible

For some reason I just can't picture him with a girlfriend... I can't quite put my finger on why I feel this way... But I have a hunch.

on youtube there is a clip with him on Who's Line is it Anyway. very funny, you get the impression that girls aren't his thing.

Shave some down, and subcontract out your job, you will get the money, and the monkeys will get paid in fruit, its a win win for both.

When I left this afternoon to do chores, we were in the teens. You guys were busy.

DS got to ride is bike today (1st bike) He was learning very well. He learned that if he starts at the top of the driveway, he gains speed which helps him pedel. After a few attempts, he learned how to turn and keep pedaling. After his confidance built up, he learned that if he pedeled down the driveway, his speed increased. And then he learned gravity isn't very nice. He took the turn too sharp and too fast. He busted his lip. He's fine. no stiches and his teeth are where they are supposed to be. He was wearing a coat so his forarms were protected. But his little lip is swollen pretty good.

You know if you want to go a little edgy supernatural there is a series about a witch who's name is Rachel Morgan. They are funny as well mystery/edgy. She has a pixie as her back up. The first book is called Dead Witch Walking, and it is by Kim Harrison. It is laugh out loud during parts of it.

Thanks for remembering, lol. Felt much better this morning. I'm betting it had a lot do with my overnight shift and lack of sleep thereafter!

I would die. I have to pull 1 overnight shift a week and it's already brutal. I told my boss I can't keep doing it every week (been doing this for 4 years now with an occasional weekend off, but not many).

I want those weekends off!! And it may have something with wanting to go visit the BF.

I agree about pushing it, but I must say I've heard far more riskay things said. Not on this thread cause we have manners, but on others on this board
