Just got back from Maine with the Family (includes 2 Tweens).
Felt good catching a striper at Perkins Cove on a 5 " sluggo,
popped open a beverage and sat in the living room with the Tweens who were watching NICK celebration of 10 yrs of NICK Magazine, letting the glow of my success of the day settle in,
BANG !!!
TWEEN WORLD HIT ME!
At first I said to myself this is The Amanda Show, no, Lizzy Maquire, no , that's so Raven, no, this is adultish, no, this hormone over load , no , this is too inmature for adults, no, THAT'S RIGHT !
Let me take you back to the fall of 2002, I watching CNBC , the Squawk Box business show , they were asking a producer of a network what was the next marketing challenge, he replyed the TWEENS, The babies born from 1987-1993, who were the population explosion since the Baby Boomers.
WELL, HELLO TWEENS!
I was under the impression that these formats were for the 15 (going to get my license) to(I'm free) 18 year olds type shows.
By the way, the night before on HOT TICKET, movie review show, the new "Thirteen" film was suggested as a MUST for parents of "TWEENS".
Did I must of miss a few chapters of the book on biological and psycology of youth 10-14 years old?
I think my name is going to be changed from DADDY , "HEY MAN!"
in a false tenor voice!!!!!
