I just remembered about AI. Good thing I have the PVR set to record any new episodes for me.

Can't watch it now though, Dillon's messing with his arcade stuff. He is setting up a machine where you can play pretty much any video game you can think of from Atari to Nintendo 64 on a full sized arcade machine we have in our basement. It should be fun when it's finished.

Row - Visiting Disneyland with your special someone is pretty awesome to say the least. We spent New Years Eve there and it was just amazing. I still have our first weekend there together high at the top of my list right now. I'd been used to doing the solo thing at Disneyland beforethen and loving every second of that.

Michele - I think you're right, that they felt bad for her. But that shouldn't warrant a ticket to Hollywood. I can only imagine how silly they'll all feel (meaning the not-so-great singers who shouldn't be moving on) when they get there and they can't hack it.

I already forgot the last audition so I probably agree with you that whoever it was shouldn't have made it. Question though, did they always let people audition together and so many family members etc. into the audition room?

Yeah it should be really fun when he's done with it. He also has a pinball machine that he's restoring. He got it for $80 and can turn around and sell it for close to $1500. Apparently he's going to do this until he can get the one he wants. Restoring machines is his hobby. I wish I had a hobby like that. I guess there's scrapbooking, but it can cost so much money sometimes.

Jazz- Trev and I went last Thanksgiving in 09 for a week together. We brought both of our families to meet one another. We had an amazing time and everything was just so magical. The fireworks didnt happen all week so that was a bummer until the very last night we were eating dinner at plaza inn and the fireworks went off. I left our food at the table and went running outside because that was just one night I couldnt miss!

I stopped watching american idol after the first season. For some reason I jst cant get into it anymore.

Row - I haven't ever really watched it before but I was curious to see Steven Tyler as a judge and I'm kind of liking it so I'm kind of watching it. We'll see how long that lasts though.

What a great way to meet the families, fireworks or no fireworks. Of course on your final night you would get them!!

I know. I think that sometimes these people are misled by well meaning people that love them and tell them they sound good.

What goes through the peoples minds when they dress up in silly stuff like that? Do they really think it's going to help?

And those people that are really bad....who are the ones telling them that they should try out??? That's what I'd like to know.

Oh I don't doubt it. I know I have a hard time telling someone that they suck if they sang something in front of me. Simply having the guts to sing out loud is more than I can say for myself. But the judges don't need to play into this. At least the truly horrendous don't stand a chance. But there are mediocre people who aren't nearly as good as they think they are.

I honestly don't remember how well she did. I just really liked the singing moment between her and Steven. If I were her (never in a million years), I would be on cloud nine to be able to sing with him.
