Hello My Name is... And I am NOT on the Podcast Cruise

Hi there, my name is Kathie, and there is no podcast cruise in our family's (immediate) future. Kids have standardized testing that week in school.. so we're stuck home. And it would have been my birthday present too!

I am hearing all the things that the cruisers get to do (chat and podcast) and am a bit envious, but not in a mean way! I hope you guys all have a blast, and have a bit of fun for us too!

Someday our "ship" will come in.. ok lame joke

I just wanted to second that I am also a teacher and cannot take off time in May because we do not get vacation days (yeah, yeah, we get summers off...I understand that). The description on today's show of the guest speaker sounds incredible!

My name is Elaine and we planned to go on the podcast cruise but then my brother-in-law booked his wedding the day the cruise leaves. We cruised on the Wonder in February instead and got the opportunity to do a bounce-back cruise in December so it's some consolation.

We were actually originally booked for the cruise but then DBF got a leave replacement teaching position and well, there ya go...teachers do NOT get off in May..so we had to cancel. We are booked for end of July though with the buy 4 get 3 nights free promo so we are not too bummed. Our pic is in my avatar. That is a pic of us on the monorail...we took it of ourselves.

I'm not too bothered with all the cruise talk. Interested to hear all the stories when they get back!

We are going back Disney for two weeks of free dining (acutally discounted deluxe dining) in Sept/Oct. (our 4th two week trip in the last 5 years) and it's during my birthday and it's during food and wine

Hello, my name is Ann....and I am not going on the Podcast Cruise. Worse, I'm not going to Disney at all as originally planned this May, as my dad broke his hip in January and is still recovering.

Luckily, with the 4/3 promo, I am able to go to WDW with a friend the first week in May. There would be no way that I would be able to get my DH to go on a podcast cruise. Ever. So.....<sniff>

Hi, I'm Kim and I'm not going on the Podcast cruise I'm am getting more and more bitter about it each day, so much so that I can't even bring myself to go into chat anymore. I miss my friends, but I can't handle the cruise talk.
I would've gone in a hot minute if it weren't for our state standardized testing (well that and the fact that I'm a teacher....they might have missed me for a few days.)

I'm sorry to all of those that can't go I wish we could all attend. Oh how much fun that would be. My DD8 is upset because we are going on the cruise (she's excited about that part), and she is going to miss a baseball game that her entire school is going to. Whle her school is at the baseball game, she will be in the MK. But, it's hard for her to realize how fortunate and lucky she is when she's having to miss out on something.

I just wanted to say that it's great to see the faces of so many of you!!!

I am Tara and I to am not going on the Pod Cast cruise. We just had a baby in Feburary and my DH did not think we should take her that young not to mention we are broke from all the baby stuff. I get a girls weekend in December but Really Really Really want to spend my first mothers day on the cruise

We won't be on the cruise because hubby couldn't get off the time from work, he works in a school. That's okay because we will be will be having a three week Disneyland and Disney World trip in July/ August.

Hi! I'm Kim and I'm not going on the Podcast Cruise either. I booked a nice stay at the BWV for my DH's birthday at the DVC 11 month mark and wasn't going to change it. I also know that my DH would have felt "left out" and would have been wondering where his wife was on the podcast cruise. When we vacation we do so to be together as a family and I'm pretty sure I would be leaving them a lot on that cruise.

The upside is because of all the cruise talk on the podcast I booked a 7 night DCL cruise right after my stay at BWV!
