HELLO ? MICKEY? ARE YOU THERE?It's me again, and again, and again.....TR STARTED 6/3

This is just wrong isn't it Michelle! :lmao:

I got the Cupcakes Pink too....can't wait for it to get here! :woohoo:

:rotfl: I know-----Mary can't blame us for all the trouble she may/or may not get into on the VB website! :rotfl:

Leanne-I am getting so excited for this May trip! My girls informed me that were some other places they'd like to go (WHAT???), so I'm seeing the possibility that we may not be back at Disney for another year or so, after this trip. :sad1: Because of that, I just really want this May trip, to be the greatest time we've ever had there! :thumbsup2

Ten Our Fathers and Ten Hail Marys.... ;)

Kathy

:rotfl2: Thanks, Kathy. However, we may need to save that punishment for Kevin for after he sees my CC statement! :scared1: (He might say something he shouldn't..........:rolleyes1)

I must confess I could not keep away from the VB site either. I had been good since the first e-mail came I even erased it. Then Vera sent a new e-mail this morning as a reminder. I bought several items for my three niece's who have birthdays in May, and only two small things for me.

I have been good and stayed away from the VB site :goodvibes. I am so proud of myself .

I know what you mean about the backpacks being hot. I have one I got with my Coke points and it can get really hot at times. It was a very pretty day here today, but it was kinda hot. I am hoping we have this kind of weather at Disney.

That Vera.....She just won't give up, will she? :rotfl:

Well, Ms. Dana, you have been a very good girl! You've lost weight and stayed away from VB----It must have been a very boring week! :lmao:

The weather has been very pretty yesterday and today here, too. Feels like spring, and boy, am I ready for it! :thumbsup2

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE!

I hope everyone has had a good day. We spent the weekend in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel for a church-related activity for our children. Even though we are there every year for Easter, I can never get over what a beautiful hotel it is.

Our room overlooked the Delta area, and here is the view from our balcony.

Here's a perfect view of the little wedding gazebo.

We had a good trip, crazy-busy, but a fun one! Easter Sunday is beautiful here today---sunny and low 80's today! We came home from church, and took some pictures of the girls. (Reid was with his mother this weekend).

Happy Easter, Michelle. Great pics! I love the Opryland Hotel. Gaylord knows how to do things right!

You were twenty minutes away from us! We'll have to meet there (at Opry Mills probably) sometime. This weekend was all party focused, but whenever you come up here again, let us know. That is a beautiful hotel. ::yes::

Happy Easter!!

:flower3::sunny::daisy::butterfly:flower1:

Thanks, Leanne. I hope you had a wonderful Easter! :)

Happy Easter, Michelle. Great pics! I love the Opryland Hotel. Gaylord knows how to do things right!

Thanks, Susan. I hope you had a great Easter, as well. :)

Have you ever been to any of the other Gaylord hotels? I know they have that hotel near Disney. I just wondered if they're all just as elaborate?!?:confused3

Beautiful pics of your girls Michelle!

Happy Easter!

Thanks, Michelle. :goodvibes I hope you had a great Easter, too.

Oh, wow, just twenty minutes?? I didn't realize you were so close to Nashville. I wasn't sure where you lived in TN.

I know ya'll had a busy, birthday party weekend. I can't wait to look over at your TR and see some pictures of little Bella's birthday party! :goodvibes

Happy Easter, Michelle! The hotel is gorgeous, and your girls are so pretty in their Easter finery!

Thanks, Jackie. :thumbsup2

Good morning Michelle,

My mother has stayed at that hotel before and said it was beautiful. But, she didn't take any pictures so I didn't know just how beautiful it was until you posted your pics. It's gorgeous!

Your girls are simply beautiful!

Glad you had a good Easter. Our church is undergoing major reconstruction...when I say major, I mean there's no front anymore, the sides are down to the metal studs, etc. We have been holding church in the church gym which is not the best of circumstances on any given Sunday. We normally have about 600 in attendance on Sunday mornings and it's been packed to the gills. We decided to skip church this Sunday due to the fact that we knew it would be standing room only or that we would be sitting in the youth room or the other rooms and only see the sermon on the temporary televisions they had set up.

Hope you have a good Monday.

Thanks, Lisa! I think they're beautiful, but they're mine, so of course I think that! :goodvibes

Oh, my goodness, what a mess at your church building. Sounds like that project may take a long time to finish up.

The Opryland hotel is really pretty. It's absolutely beautiful at Christmas time. They really decorate it up, and it's something to see. :)

I can't wait to see the pics of your new Vera! I love the Cupcakes Pink pattern. I have a new VB post coming up, too. ;)

LOVE the Easter pics of your girls! They are both beautiful!

I haven't been to any other than Opryland, but my DH stayed at the one in Orlando and raved about it. We've also seen the one in Dallas. They are all amazing!

Thanks, Julia! :thumbsup2

I'm about to post some pictures of the VB---I'll have to go over to your PTR and see what you've bought! :)

I'll just bet they all are. When my girls were little, and we would be at the one in Nashville, they would say, "I'm ready to go back to our hotel now." That place is soooooo big, and with all the trees and plants, I think they thought they were outside somewhere.

When I got home from Nashville on Saturday night (or actually Sunday morning---YAWN!), there was a package on my front porch. As Kevin was unloading the car, I carefully and quietly opened the front door, and grabbed the box. I snuck it into the hall closet, and left it there for the next day!

Sunday morning, while Kevin was in the shower, I promptly got to work opening up that box! :thumbsup2

A backpack in Cupcakes Pink for me to use in the park. After I use it for the trip, I will probably give it to Rachel for use for school, and give Elizabeth the Frill-Imperial Toile one I bought back in February.

Here’s the backpack----So cheerful and happy looking----(if a backpack can look happy?)-----------

IMG_0879.jpg

I ordered the girls each a frill pencil pouch, the kind you would put into a 3-ring binder. I gave it to them as a little Easter hoppy-------- I mean happy! ;)

Rachel got the one in Paprika:

Almost at our 45 day countdown--- I’m getting super excited!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Great Opryland pics Michelle! The girls are beautiful! Of course you know I go to Opryland quite a bit as it's about 45 minutes away. We always make a trip at Christmas to check everything out. It's one of the girls' favorite spots.

Love the VB too! We're going to be soooo cute in our matching backpacks!

wow! What a beautiful hotel! I always wonder about people who get married in gazebos situated like that one :confused3 I don't know how I would feel about strangers being able to sit on their balcony and watch

Your girls look so pretty for Easter!

I never knew about Vera until I started hanging out on the Trip Reports around here. I just purchased my second one last month, it's not for my trip but maybe I'll post a pic on my PTR anyway
