My niece stayed there last February and she and her husband really liked it. I want to stay at BLT at some point but it's so hard to get in at 7 months for peak seasons. I'm sure I'll get there someday and until then I can live through other's TR's

We are in a regular room, garden wing. I've come to realize in 8 trips to WDW, that we're just not the sit on the balcony and enjoy the view sort of people, so I pay for the cheapest laughing: that's a relative term when you're talking disney) view available. But BLT looks awesome...maybe some day.......

This will be our first time to stay at the Cont., so I'm looking forward to trying a new resort. Love the fact that the rooms seem to be so large!

I'm glad you know what I mean...there's just not that same vibe I feel when I walk through the Poly or WL. BUT, I do really want to try out all the deluxe resorts at some time.

I hope so too!!!! I have a feeling I'll go back and forth on this decision for the next three months. Then I'll wind up staying there and love it!

Trip #1

We have the park hours and we know what the UG has each day rated, so, my sister and I have made a tentative plan for our March trip!

Thursday, March 18

I plan to leave work at lunch today and check Rachel out as well. We plan to drive the 45 minutes east to my sister’s house, and pick up her, my niece and nephew. (He has spring break this week, so he will be home all day). The plan is to drive to Tallahassee and stop and spend the night.

Friday, March 19

Elizabeth will be leaving this morning from the school parking lot around 5 a.m. on a chartered bus with her band. I decided to let her ride to Orlando with her friends on the bus.

Hopefully, my sister and I (along with kids) will be up and out of Tallahassee by 9 a.m. If there are no obstacles, we should be checked into POR by 1 p.m. that afternoon!

The plan is to go to Magic Kingdom that evening, see “Spectro” and “Wishes.” At some point during the evening, I will have to leave and drive to Celebration to pick up Elizabeth. She will have to call me when the band reaches their hotel. She will come back with me to stay at POR with us.


Saturday, March 20

Today is a fly-by-your-seat sort of day. We can’t make any definite plans for today, until closer to trip time. I know that today will be the day Elizabeth’s band group plays. Where they play or when they play is the question…….So I have tentatively planned to go to Disney Studios.

EMH is from 8-9 a.m.

Epcot—9a.m.


There is a possibility of hopping over to the Studios tonight at 8:30 for Fantasmic!

EMH at Magic Kingdom 11 p.m.-2 a.m.


Monday, March 22

Animal Kingdom---EMH 8-9a.m.



Evening Magic Hrs. @ Disney Studios 7-10 p.m.


The band will board their bus at the end of this evening to drive overnight back home. Of course Elizabeth will be staying on with us. So from this point she will be with us during the day instead of hanging out with her friends.


Tuesday, March 23

Magic Kingdom---Rope Drop @9 a.m.



Late Breakfast ADR @ ‘Ohana----We have eaten this breakfast twice, and my girls really love it. Of course, Lilo is one of my favorites; she’s soooo cute! My sister and family have never eaten here, so I’m excited for them.

Wednesday, March 24

No definite plans for this day. It will be our last day, so we’ll just kind of wait and see what everyone wants to do! Animal Kingdom does have EMH from 5-8 p.m.. Any time we’ve been to evening magic hours at AK, we’ve really enjoyed it. AK is not my favorite park, but it is really pretty at night (not to mention, cooler! )
