They've never had to be, people have always chomped, but they just chose to be!! I know they'll be that way again! We love Disney!!!

Yay!!! Much better day today. Only spent 20 mins to get a VIP tour! Thought for sure I was going to be on hold for an hour.

I just hit the 2 hour mark of being on hold and I'm up against a deadline here of when I'm going to have to hang up....this is insanely frustrating, especially since odds are good they'll just end up telling me all the cabanas are already booked.

I always use the chat feature in MDE and it works great! Someone is always available and I am usually done very quickly! I just used it the other day to put in my hotel requests. You might try using that!

Last night it was somewhere between 1 and 1.5 hours before anyone responded to my question on chat.

I waited last night for 3 hours and 10 minutes only to be told that cabanas can't be reserved until 60 days out, which the website DOES NOT say anywhere. I'd read conflicting accounts on here about that so wanted to try, all for nothing. I wish they'd note that timing restriction on there if it's even accurate.

After two attempts of over two hours, I had the dumb idea to wait until I got there to book the fishing excursion thinking I could just walk up. Ha! Good thing we "take the break" because I had to wait for 2 hours while sitting in my room at BLT to get someone to FINALLY take my money!

I called to add parkhoppers to my ticket. I put the phone on speaker, and went about my day working from home. Then I forgot all about it and went downstairs to make myself some lunch. Then I remembered the call and ran back upstairs--still nothing but Disney music. At that point I just hung up. Maybe I'll add hoppers at the park or maybe I don't really need it.

It's not on the Cabanas page, specifically, but Disney does address this in their FAQs (cabana rentals are part of the "Enchanting Extras Collection").
