Looking to book air for a trip to the F&WF on Southwest and it was over $700R/T. I was only going down for a long weekend so if I don't find a better deal than that I will be canceling. Did I miss something? I don't think I am looking too early or too late am I?

Thanks

This whole year has seen some pretty significant price increases in flights. I can imagine your surprise if you haven't looked in awhile.:(
That being said, sign up for Southwest emails and look here often. I think another sale will come about before October. Be prepared to be flexible, and to act fast and you could grab a decent fare.

Thanks, I will keep looking. I had just received an email from Southwest which is what prompted me to check. My May trip with SW was I think about $250 R/T, not horrible but I have done better. I usually stick with SW but since I will not need to check a bag I will be expanding my search choices.

The prices are crazy. I bought when SW first released for October and paid a little over 500 r/t for two people. Right now the same flights would cost 1321.20 for two:eek:
