I would send you guys some donuts if I knew they would still be fresh by the time they got to you, lol. They are the best donuts ever!

They never would be fresh by the time they got here. There is this local donut shop called the Donut Wheel that is wonderful!!

The locally owned ones always seem to be a lot better quality. We have a local one too called the Donut Mill. It's good as well. They have a lot of interesting kinds that are out of the ordinary.

Ours just has the classic donuts but I love their apple fritters. They are amazing.

Tim Hortons are mostly just classic kinds, with a few specialty ones. They also have certain ones that come out with each holiday that are really good.

The donut mill has an oreo one that I love. It's filled with a vanilla pudding and has an icing with oreo crumbs mixed in on the top. So yummy.

Ooh that oreo one sounds good to me.

OH London plans are fine, I decided not to go!
I started a new job which I love and I have a boy now :lovestruc

Shoot! I can't tell you how many Tim Horton's we drove by coming through Canada, and never stopped at one. And we are a donut loving family.

There's a Tim Hortons every few blocks it seems like, lol. It's kinda like Starbucks. If you like donuts, you probably would have loved it. They have good lunch stuff as well. Sandwiches and soup type stuff.

I heard yesterday that Starbucks is trying to buy Peet's. As if there weren't enough Starbucks around already.

I hate when companies that are already huge have to try and take over other companies. They better not ever try to take over our Timmies!

Do you have Starbucks in Canada? I hope they don't. They are like bugs, you just can't get rid of them.

Oh yes, we have them. And they are already everywhere. They are in all of our Safeway grocery stores, and in all of our Chapters book stores. Plus we have a few stand alone ones as well. I think we have at least 6 in Red Deer, and we are not that big of a city.

I wonder then if Chapters is Barnes and Noble because they are in our Barnes and Nobles. And they are in our Safeway's and they seem to be on every freaking corner.

They might be. I know and American company bought out our Chapters a few years ago. The stores stayed the same and kept the name, but are now owned by an American company.
