See, I'm still not a huge fan of text messages either. I'm not as anti-text as I used to be. But I don't see the difference really between it and FB and to have both seems rather redundant to me.

Oh they are totally different for me. Twitter is just a timeline of statements made by people. Facebook has all those other things.

I'll just leave it with this: I actually hate Twitter. I really do. It goes way too far into the trivial "I didn't need to know that category". It feeds into too many people's narcissitic beliefs that everything they do should matter to everyone. Heck, it's a problem with FB as well that I myself sadly fall into and wish I hadn't later.

I'm kind of more in an old-fashined form of communication person. I hate how media-centric it has all become. People don't talk like they used to and it bothers me.

But heck, where do I come off. I talk more with people on the DIS than I do in real life.

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the absense! I have had clearly just too much going on.
I really had a crummy day. Alot of stuff with prom is going DOWNHILL all to stressful for me. I have a HUGE project due on Wednesday! YIKES! But I am slowly getting through it.
On a good note:
I did buy my prom dress but I cant post pictures yet because the pic is on my phone so you all just have to wait till after prom to see it. Everyone says I look like a princess in it so that excites me!

How has everyone else been??

That and on facebook the celebrity stuff is always just their fan club and publicity people talking and posting for them, where twitter is usually actually them. The only celebs (to me anyways) I have on facebook that are actually them is my favourite band Social Code.

Boo. Getting rady to get my hair did. We're just doing roots and the teal today. Next time she'll retouch it all. I be excited.

I just found out I wont get to be home for our annual St. Patty's Day dinner. It's a huge affair at our house. I have an exam Thursday night!!

Makes me feel a little hypocritical sometimes, you know? Which is why I don't really begrudge anyone who does. It just doesn't make me hate the thing itself any less.

Speaking of, if you had asked me a few years ago I never would have guessed I would make as many friends through an online site as I have.

These days I talk to more people online than I do my friends around here. During the day when I am at home, most of my friends are working. And a few of them live out of town too. Plus a couple of them are fairly young, and they aren't at the kid stage yet, so I think me having a kid might put a damper on things a little bit. But I am happy with the friends I've met online, even though I don't get to see them. On day soon.

Dillon and I were talking more about moving to the US for a year. We would love to, and Dillon could probably get an IT job fairly easy. But we just don't know how to go about the Visas and all that.

We just went for a walk to enjoy the warm weather we are having. I think I need to get more exercise. I was getting stomach cramps so bad. Not sure if I should push myself through them or if I shouldn't be walking like that. Something more to ask the dr on Wednesday I guess.

The walk sounds nice! It's pretty lovely around here too, kind of threatening rain but still, it was sunny and in the upper 70s today.

YAY!!!! I can't wait to get it!!

I am, sometime after 5p tonight I'll head over to their house for dinner and the hair fun. My sister is on spring break and should be home sometime today so I might bring her with me. But I don't think I could pull off a head of teal hair, haha. So we're sticking with red with a touch of teal.

I wanna see your hair!!!! I want to do that with my hair, only I want purple streaks. I want to find a job first tho...LOL

So today Jadey and I (DD11) planted our garden!!! Very first one EVER! I mean I had them as a kid, Mom planted huge ones every year, but this is my first one of my own. I'm super excited!! We worked super hard on it too. We planted a lot of stuff, not just veggies, we also replanted some Calla Lily bulbs that needed repotting, so we did a lot and it looks GREAT! Now it's almost 7 and I can't believe it at all...it's still light out!! But no wonder I'm getting hungry..don't want to cook tho, not after all that work outside....I wanna go out for dinner!

I told her about the prom issues I was having and explained to her that I was giving the info to my mom for her to call and she said "Of course, you always tell your mom what to do and she does it." Excuse me??

Steph, that is terrible news, i'm sorry to hear that. I hope all goes well.

And as far as the part about girls calling other woman's husband's, i would be kicking someone's booty.

yeah.. I have a friend that I met in HS and then she met my DH.. she dated DH's best friend quite a few times and she is always texting and calling DH with her problems.. one night she asked if she could come over.. I just hate it.. I told her she crossed the line and I dont like her ALWAYS calling and texting DH because I know she would have a HISSY fit if I did the same to her BF.. irritates me..

I deal with someone like that. She text messages Scotty and she purposely misspells my name on facebook where you know as well as I do they can see it. Recently she saw us together and she spoke to Scotty and not me. I was rather pushed out of joint and pushed pretty much passed my limit. I forced her to acknowledge me. Now anytime she talks to him on facebook I involve my self in the conversation knowing full well that his friends will welcome me. And the next time she calls me anything other than by name I am calling her by a different name.

yeah.. my friend at work, Cassie, and I have had discussions about things like this.. I would flick that chick like a booger!!!

To be honest, I'm in a camp where some people take the whole 'females talking to my husband a little too far. If I was friends with a co-worker who happened to be male and married and was friendly with his wife, I would be very put off if I wasn't allowed to call him personally to see how he was doing. There's a huge difference between that and what the woman Michele mentioned was doing. I honestly can't stand that if I had to be honest.

I actually would feel uncomfortable calling my friend Cassie's DH.. and she has issues with chicks calling him because of a certain other coworker we have calling and texting him off the hook.. so out of respect for her as a friend, knowing she doesnt like it, I dont.. I had met him first and he told me he doesnt like the way it makes her feel when chicks call him so when they shared a phone I never called.. mostly because Cassie and I weren't that close then.. I was still on graveyard and she was day shift so I only saw her when her DH and I were on last break in the morning and she would come see him.. she has told me she doesnt care if I call or text him because she knows i have no intentions of anything with him.. but I didnt call him yesterday when I heard about the accident because of him working graveyard i didnt know if he was asleep.. Cassie never got back to me about how he was tho.. I may text him in the midlde of the night when I know he is at work and see how he is.. I saw the tree they hit on the way home from my parents.. you can tell where it was because the tree is freshly missing a layer of bark and there is flowers around it...

Oh! I also forgot to mention that I got a new Vinylmation today. Although I didn't actually get it myself, lol. My friend who lives in Calgary was at the Disney Store with her family and they were having a sale that if you spend $20, you get a Vinylmation for $5. So she bought one for me. It ended up being one I didn't particularly want from the Have A Laugh Series, but the gesture was still nice.

I have him.. I dont really like him.. I got 2 new ones today.. I got Alice (a double..) and one that looks like a knight fromt he urban series.. and Peanut got another TS3 one.. he got wheezy..

I finished the last book of the Night Huntress series last night, and now I feel lost, lol. I have a list of some other series I could read, but I don't wanna. I wanna keep reading about the people I am already into! And when the new one comes out in August, I might be too busy to read it, lol.

OMG! I cried in the last book!! and after reading about when you had that bad dream and which book you were reading I bet i know what part it was that messed with you! If I am thinking of the right parts I almost cried during that book too! I cant wait till the next books come out!!!!!
