Hi all!! Just got back from Girl Scout Cookie booth sales. It went well, we did have one weirdo bother us. I had to get someone at the store to call security. He was drunk and harassing us and scaring the girls bad.

It is so cold outside. I stopped at Costco and froze. The wind is blowing, and it makes the wind chill factor unbearable.

How was everyone's day? I love all the caring talk going on, it makes me feel warm inside.

Beautiful pic of the mountain, but brrrr makes me shiver. We've been in a cold spell & even had some snow here on the valley floor here in Oregon. This morning we woke up to 18 degrees!!!!! I am so ready for some sunshine & warmth. Hoping the weather in S. Cali during my trip will be just that.

Jessica, don't give up the things you love.......even during the darkest times, it's those things that get us through, make us smile, laugh, remember fond memories.........as my dad always said to me....."This too will pass". The boards & facebook are great ways to get support....that's what friends do for each other. No one is happy go-lucky all the time, we all have our bad days & we look to our friends to be there for us. We're here for you & know you'll be here for us when we need it.

The countdown is on & soon you'll be in a happy place & just for a few days, you can leave your troubles at the turnstiles. I'd be more than happy to find a nice spot & just talk if you need that. I've been there, done that & might be able to give you some motherly advice. I'm sending hugs & warm thoughts to you & look forward to seeing you Friday!

My nap before work isn't happening tonight. Tried listening to some music, but still nada. Had it on shuffle and some stuff I haven't heard in a long while. I went to this music festival with my family back in ... 2008 I think it was. Heard some great music and this (<--- that's a link, by the way) is a song I fell in love with from The Wailin' Jennys. Surprisingly, it's a nice pick me up. I loved that weekend and took some great photos. Bright colors made me smile.

Good morning everyone. I finally got some sleep since I havent had any all week.

The show last night was great.....its the hardest I've laughed all week. It lifted my moods.

I leave fo WDW in not that long from now!! Right after Prom.

Girl Scout cookies are sooo yummy. I sell them since I'm still a girl scout (and noo im not dorky.) Everyone thinks all girls who are older and still girl scouts are dorky, really none of us are.

good for you about the girl scouts. I didn't want anything to do with them cause my bro's were all boy scouts and I didn't want to do anything that closley resembled what they were doing. Now I kinda wish I did. I like hiking and mountians and stuff like that, that's what our scouts were doing when I was a kid.

what does your prom dress look like? i saw some real pretty ones in the store windows at the mall today.

That's alright. I think I will have smile inducing company. I know Steph wanted to come and that means Peanut will be there and he can make everyone smile.

thanks, i'm trying to style it like the lady at the sallon did, but I can't see the back of my head and my arms only bend in one direction. It's times like these I wish my did the the "Exorsist" thing.

Boy don't I know it. My hair is done in such a way that it can just go willy nilly. I used to style my hair but I found that my hair in the back never was a s good as when they styled it.

It got to the point that I hardly ever dried it, I would just wist it up and clip it. Hubby got tired of me looking like a bumb, he insisted i get a look that even if I didn't dry it, i still had to style it. The lady stylest did something with a large round metal brush and the hair dryer that you could really see the layers in the back. I can do the front okay, but when I try to do the back, the hair flies everywhere and gets all tangly in the brush. One of these days I'm going to test the curling iron on it and see how that goes.

'Mine is cut so that it curls in the back. And has layers in the front. No fuss, no muss.

Peanut is about the same age as my Little Monkey, he LOVED the snow. I had to buy some gloves so he wouldn't freeze his little fingers. I had to pick him up and make him leave, kicking and screaming. By the time we got back "home" his closes were all wet, and his shoes were soaked. His little feet were so cold and red, I put on some dry socks and wrapped his feet in a blanket and made him sit with me till the piddy temp was at an acceptable level. He still asks if he can play in the snow.
