Our dogs pay NO attention to the goats unless they do something that they aren't supposed to then the dogs will nip their heels to get them in line...BTW that IS normal every day goat behavior! at least in good weather & esp in spring when they have been a bit sedentary for months. It still cracks me up though...I love taking kids out to play with the goats for the first time it is hilarious!

I will trade you all your rain for the snow hitting mine...It started snowing again yesterday and it still is...as usual Andreas weather is moving to my house now.

I am guessing this makes for ice which would seem worse to me.

I don't know if you want my rain it gets about two hours from me and turns to snow. And they are talking about floods overnight and tomorrow.

It's not as icy these days. It's more slush which is almost as bad. It's just as slippery to walk or drive on, and it's wet and mucky. Right now its seems like it's worse for driving cause everyone is getting stuck.

And I can bet your rain is very cold if it's that close to snow. I don't know if I'd rather that either. Some nice warm sunny days are in order!

It isn't terribly cold. You know that the elevation change between here and the snow is over 2,000 feet.

Yep it's like walking/driving through a giant slushy out there now not really cold enough for solid ice..it is melting and snowing at the same time. GRRR I just got the driveway clear and now it is all buried again. Lots of people sliding around in the slush and ending up stuck in the enormous snowbanks that are still all over town.

We are on flood alert too but it all depends on the rate of melt if it stays in the 40s it will melt gradually but if we get up to the 50s it will melt too fast then flooding is probable...luckily where the river goes by our pasture our banks are 12 feet high so we likely won't get hit too hard but there are plenty of people with lower banks and the river meanders all through town. The fire dept already has sandbags stockpiled so if it happens everyone in town will be lugging sandbags for themselves and their neighbors.We are hoping it goes slowly or we will have to deal with our riverbank eroding

Yeah, according to what I just read it is. I will watch American Idol.

We usually watch Survivor live and then I'll catch up on American Idol afterward now that we can record/watch both at once in the same room. I lhave to be able to fast forward through painful performances if need be or I would go insane.

It's too cold to go watch the game in my room though, and then come out here to watch Survivor and AI.
