Hello, Hello, Hello!

Yeah the roads today were all wet and slushy so I didn't want to deal with that any more than I already was either.

And you did mention that you could do Donald's voice. That's cool. :)

I wouldn't have swerved too much to avoid a gopher. I tried to get it so he went in between my wheels, but then he either started to run or stood up. Either way, I heard him hit. :( Poor guy. Oh well, better than the wolf we ran over in Montana on the way down to Disneyland! He was already hit, but we couldn't avoid it going highway speeds. I felt bad for both it and my car.

Oh wow, I wolf could do real damage too. When I was a kid we were going to my grandparents after dark and we hit a deer. It totally busted our radiator.

We've got so much snow in the last couple days that Dillon's car has got stuck twice in the last couple hours! Once leaving our place and then coming back! He is still having trouble parking it. I would be out there helping but I don't know what to do, lol.

Oh wow. That is a lot of snow. And this is supposed to be spring.

I know! We need that sun and heat. He finally got the car parked, sort of. It's a little crooked on the street, but it's not going anywhere else, lol. We are supposed to get a little more snow tonight and tomorrow, then it's supposed to be nice the rest of the week. I hope!!

Ok, I have a question about Americans, lol. I may have asked this before but I can't remember.

Why do Americans wear their shoes around the house? Right now I am watching a show where these guys are looking at purchasing a house, but instead of taking their shoes off at the door, they put on disposable shoe covers to walk around the house in without getting the carpets dirty. I just think it seems a little strange. We were brought up to take our shoes off at the door once we come in the house. It's just something I always wondered about, lol.

Spring needs to start in earnest for sure.

I am not the one to ask. I take my shoes off as soon as I come in the door.

My answer: I hate feet. At least when they are in shoes I don't really have to see them. ;)

Socks work wonders for that! They hide the feet and keep them warm!

Except even with socks on you can make out a general impression ... toes and the like. YUCK! Nope, I need real shoes with shape. But shoes with socks are best.

I can't wear shoes without wearing socks. It drives me crazy. But even to go from the front door to the back, I don't like wearing my shoes in the house. They are always dirty from being outside.

It's just a personal preference for some. I have some friends/family who don't wear shoes in their home. So I'll follow suit when I'm visiting, but honestly it makes me uncomfortable to not have my shoes on, lol. It's either shoes or slippers for me, unless I have no other choice but to go barefoot.

Slippers make sense. Kind of an indoor shoe and it keeps feet warm. I get cold feet, so I almost always wear socks and sometimes slippers. I would feel strange sitting here watching tv and wearing my shoes. Sometimes in shows or movies, Ill see someone lay down on their bed with their shoes on and it makes me cringe, lol.

Well, truth be told I take my shoes off when I'm sitting and stuff. It's when it comes to walking across a room I have to ahve shoes on. We have pets that do lord knows what on the carpets. No way am I walking on that with bare feet or socks that go into my bed (I cannot fall asleep without socks on).

Haha, I am the opposite. I can't sleep with my socks on. It just feels weird once I put my feet under the covers.
