Hi all,

Been on the disboards for some time but for some reason only found the scrapbooking section today! I love seeing everyones pages and am getting lots of ideas. I have only been scrapping for about a year but am completely addicted. I was fortunate to attend my first convention last weekend at CKC- Valley Forge, had a great time! I will be spending time here often!

I totally enjoyed it. Sweating outside while watching several billards players spitting was just what I wanted to last Friday morning (is that dripping (no pun intended) with enough sarcasm?)

To be honest, it didn't really bother me at all. I hadn't signed up for any classes and all it did was actually save me money! It just prevented me from shopping too much!

My first class was at 11 on the hotel side so I sat in my car with the a/c on and waited to see the hotel doors start sliding, which they did about 30 minutes before class started. The rest of my group was on the convention center side so we kept calling each other for updates.

I think what made me mad the most was the hotel not even offering water where the majority of the people were.
