Hello from the BW (almost)

I'm sitting here looking out my window from the Dolphin. I'm a BWV owner, but I'm at the Dolphin at a conference for a few days.

It's hot!! I always go in July and people usually tell me how crazy I am to go in the summer. They tell me a string of 90 degree days has been hitting the area.

I walked over to the Luna pool this morning and read the paper. It was about 9 am and was very quiet. Even though the Grotto pool is nice, it feels good to hang at my "home".

The scafolding is pretty involved around the pool. The whole left side is covered.

I tallked to the guide at the models and didn't learn anything new. All he said has pretty much been discussed here.

The BCV are looking good. The grand opening should be exciting.

Anyway, the last time I was here was last summer (pre Sept 11) and I have to admit, the BW and WDW looks and feels good. The place feels extra special.

Off to the BW for some dinner, see you later.

It's so nice to have a "real-time" report from a DVCer. Thanks for the info. We'll be at BWV June 1. Keep the reports coming if possible!

Thanks for posting, we will be at BWV in a few days and reading your post was just what I needed to get me going doing the laundry, packing, etc.
We have a preferred view villa booked so since so many of the pool view villas are closed maybe we have a good chance of a boardwalk view! Yahoo!

Last night, I saw the Fantasmic show at MGM, plenty of seats. The park was not too crowded. I went on RR twice in a row, only a 10 minute wait. Ran over to ToT, noo wait.

Earlier in the day, I went to TL water park (I had never been there). Also, not too crowded. The wave pool felt great.

I also ran over to AK. The new dino area is pretty cool. I know that people have been criticizing the carnival aspect of it, but I can see the theme they are trying to present (whether Walt would approve or not).

Anyway, off to do some conference stuff, supposed to go to a special AK diner tonight for confernce attendees. Should be good.
