Hi, I've just started posting the other day on the boards. I have found lots of great information & decided to join in on the fun. DH, DS5 & I are headed to Disney World in April. This is DS5's first trip, DH hasn't been since he was a teen & I haven't been since 1992ish. Very excited about this trip & seeing all the pictures is so fun. Hello fellow Rhode Islander! I'm from Portsmouth. Have fun on your upcoming trip in April. A lot has changed since '92. I took several years off from Disney, too, and went back when DD was 4 and have been back every year since. We are going again in March 15. Only one more week for us!

Hi to Rhode Islanders! I'm from the northern part of RI. But as all Rhode Islanders I know or have lived in many parts. 1 hour top to bottom. gotta love it!! Pawtucket, grew up there, Westerly, really want to bring my son to the flying horse carousel, Warwick, Shop there!!

On a personal side. My daughter will be attending The University of Rhode Island in the fall. Any ideas on where the best place to rent a condo or a townhouse. She is going for her masters in chemical engineering so she will be at the university for the next two years. Any help and advice would be greatly apprecaited.

URI might have graduate housing or refer you to someone. Or, there is a rental company called Durkin Cottages which rents to student. Here is the link for the winter 2008/2009.

I'm sure she'll love it. Alot of people I know have rented on "Great Island", also near "Scarborough Beach" is nice. Hope that helps!!
