Love the DIS but have never posted until now. Since I saw other NJ posts, thought I'd try here 1st.

Getting ready for grand gathering in Dec with my parents and sister, brother-in-law & their 8 mo old son. My parents haven't been to WDW since pre-Epcot and are very excited. Dad has heart cond. & tires easily walking, but he wants to see everything. I want to surprise them, but not sure what to do. Thought about getting tree in room, but sounds like it'll be $$. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome from Toms River, NJ! Instead of the tree b/c it is alot of money (but it is so cute ) how about just doing the Mickey and Minnie Stockings. They can be delivered and have them waiting in your room for when you arrive or at anytime you want during the duration of your trip.

Have a wonderful time - the Holidays are the best time to be there.

Hello from Bergen County too! You'll love it at Christmas time, it's one of my favorite times to go. The decorations are incredible. Would love to go at that time of year again and show my DH what it's like. We are going Oct 25th to Nov 1st to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary..
