Hello from newbie to this forum

Hi everybody, I'm Pam and I've just booked our (DH Chris & me) first ever trip to DLP so I thought I'd come and be part of this forum. In fact I'm being very brave as I'm usually a lurker on the WDW forums

We're going for 3 nights 5th - 8th Nov 06, travelling by Eurostar and staying at the Newport Bay Hotel. We're excited in a scary kind of way because we've never been before and we've only ever done WDW, so we don't want to build ourselves up and be disappointed. But its Disney so how can we possibly not be excited!!!

I'm sure I'll have questions for you all, but first I'm waiting to read any of November 05 trip reports for hints & tips and to get the 2006 Brits Guide. That way I might avoid asking the 'doh' questions!

Off now to find a countdown......

Thank you all for your many 'hellos' and making me feel welcome. Now I'm really really excited, especially after reading Diberry's trip reports which were brilliant, thank you for posting the link to them. A quick question on your report though, you mentioned 'snow', was this real snow or Disney magic snow?

It was Disney magic snow which only falls on Main Street. It happened lots of times every day preceded by that lovely music so we used to dash out of the shops to enjoy it!!!
