HI all!! Greetings from the Western Cruise! So far it has just been Fabulous!! Key west was great... we did the Conch Train Tour... much fun, very informative. Then we went on a jet ski tour... We highly recommend, it was sooo fun!! A little scary!! They take you on a 25 mile tour around the surrounding islands, it took 2 hours, $105 for two of us, we shared a ski. Great time!! Sunset was just beautiful too!! We are off to Palo for brunch today, tonight(Monday) is formal night...and Thursday will be Semi-formal night. thats all for now, will keep you all updated as the cruise goes on!!

Keep in touch, but most of all, HAVE A GREAT TIME.
We are sailing on 8/17, so we want to know every
detail. Simple questions: are they serving tacos
at Pluto's by the pool? What night would you go
to Palo's?

Thanks for the update. Have fun. We have to wait until March for our next cruise. Did you tender or dock at Key West?

Is the big cheese Michael Eisner onboard? I had heard somewhere that he was going to be.

Have a great time!!!

MJ

:D
Hello there yourself - I am so glad that you were able to visit KW - learn a little about it AND do the ski trip - quite exciting itsn't it - most of all did you have a toast on me? Glad I was able to put a face to the name Saturday - Have a wonderful time and will talk with you soon.
Always,
Shirley

Would love the here more about the Jet Ski Tour, that sound right up my DH alley way. And thanks so much for taking time out of your trip to give us an update. We are on the 6/22 western cruise and can't wait.

keep posting if you can....we are all very interested in what is going on onboard the Western!!!!! How did formal night work out?

MJ

Jenn & Peter!

Hey there! Remember me?? My husband and I met you guys on a bus to the BWV last year! :)
Kamy & Tim (better known here as kamgen and tarzanman)!
Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

One of our favorite radio stations is broadcasting from your ship (DRQ from Detroit - Jay Towers and the Morning Revolution)
If you see them, tell them Kamy & Tim in Detroit say hello and keep up the good work and find that darn golden envelope!!!!!!
LOL!!!
Cannot wait to hear your about everything when you return!
Kamy :)

We're interested in the Jet Ski tour, got any phone numbers? Let me know the details. I have a DD (7) and DS (9). Since you're paired up, could the kids ride with an adult or do you think it's too fast or too rough for that?

Thanks. 65 days!!!

If anyone finds an update as the start of another thread, can you post a link here for those of us new to the boards and having a hard time finding things?
THANKS

Jan :earsgirl:

I'm really enjoying the updates from this cruise. Thanks for posting!

Hi everyone! Quick update! The jet ski tour was just off the boat in key west, you can see it from the boat. There was a family with us, a dad and his son that rode together, he looked to be about 7 or 8. They both totally enjoyed it!! Michael Eisner is not on board, but Matt Ouimmette (sp?) president of Disney Cruise line is! Along with a bunch of bigwigs, so we hear. Shirley, we did have several toasts to you! It was great to meet you... and thanks for the birthday basket for Peter! Kamgen!!! Of course we remember! You guys really should do this one, it is so great! We havent heard the radio show... one morning it was live at 5 AM!! I am pretty sure I was sleeping then!! We will post a ton more when we get home..... talk to you all soon!!!!
