Hello from Argentina!

Hello everyone! We are so excited about this trip, our very first one to the "World".

We will be travelling around 9 hours from South America to Florida in October, spending Columbus Day weekend in Miami, and later switching to WDW from October 11th to October 18th. We are going to have a TRIPLE! celebration there, my birthday (38), my son's birthday (5) the very next day, and our anniversary (8th) the next one, all in 3 days!!!

Really, I don't think there is a better place to have such celebration!!!

We all three are Disney fans: movies, ebooks, games, tv shows, etc. you name it. Specially my son, who loves Toy Story, Cars, Monsters Inc and, of course, Mickey Mouse and friends... He is already telling everyone that when he turns five he is going to Disney... (just in case some relative wants to "collaborate" with his piggy bank in advance ... we don't have the Disney Gift Cards here...)

Well, that will be it for my presentation, I must say this web page (and all the fantastic members) is helping us out a lot with the planning, ideas, suggestions, etc.

Thank you Disney Crazy Debbie! We have so many questions but we started reading all the threads in this wonderful site, just to get a good idea on soooo many items to plan! Anyways, we are happy planning the trip and it seems time goes by faster!

I'm from Argentina as well (though I live in Spain). I've been a lurker for years but I'm re-joining this wonderful group now that we might be going to WDW in the near future (I haven't been there since 1996!)

Thank you all for the welcome greetings! We are reading tons of threads in this site, the DIS, and it's like a never ending story with all those questions, answers and all sort of comments, really helpful! All of the members are so polite to take their time and post a reply! Keep up the good work! We will try to add our comments, reports, feelings and pictures once we return, to help others as well.
