hello florida OR california here i come?

our spring break is the week before easter...i've been during some crowded times in the summer but i get the sense from the boards that it is much worse during spring break, no matter DL or WDW....so here is my question...

do i just brave it and head to florida where i know the ins and outs on how to beat some of the crowds(might even spend some time at universal for the express system) or do i head to southern california and do the DL/DCA, legoland, san diego zoo, sea world, universal, etc, even though i know the crowds will be bad and have limited expertise on these places. where do you think the crowds will be most manageable??

I can't help you at all - I've been to WDW and DL in the summer, never the spring.

Could you post over at the DL Board and maybe also over at the Resorts board? I am sure you would get a lot of answers from one of those places.

mid March-early April..crowds were non existant..we did DL, Sea World and Six Flags..all with no lines..rode all rides multiple times..though there were a few down for "renovation"..the weather was warm..sometimes HOT..and sunny..can you say "sunburn"?-lol..would highly recommend this time of year in CA!..have a great trip no matter which location you choose!

Personally if I had to go at a crowded time, I'd rather go to the place I was more familiar with rather than brave a new place. Like you said, you'll know how to manage the crowds better because you've been before. I'd prefer the first time I go somewhere to be a little more calm so I can really soak it in and take my time.
