Hello Disboards!

I'm new here and excited to join in the fun! I've been lurking for awhile and finally decided to register. I've been to WDW once, as an adult, and my DH went with his grandparents 30 years ago. We, along with my parents who have never been, are taking our DS for his third birthday at the beginning of November. I officially booked 7 nights in a Cars suite at Art of Animation yesterday! My DS loves anything and everything Cars, so I can't wait to see his reaction when we arrive at AoA. Now if October 30 will just hurry up and get here!

I have lurked a bit lately as well - it's been a couple of years since my last trip to Disney, but I just booked a vacation package for late summer and now I am haunting the boards again since I am so excited about the prospect of another visit! This is definitely a great place to share your excitement and see photos, etc. My best advice is to make sure you check out the Unofficial Guide. It really is the greatest - and fun to read as it feeds your anticipation. Hope you find lots of great tips here on the boards, too!

Thanks so much! :smile: Good luck planning your trip for this summer! I haven't been since 2006, and I've never stayed on site or taken a child. I'm sure everything will be very different! I'll definitely check out that guide. I'm trying to check out anything and everything WDW so we are as prepared as possible.

Welcome! I practically grew up at WDW and seeing it through my child's eyes for the first time was something I'll never forget. Can't wait until you get back so you can share with us your DS's reaction to the Cars suite!
