Hello all! I am planning a WDW vacation for my family in late Nov/early Dec 2011. We are travelling from Canada, and with the cost of flights etc. this will likely be a once in a lifetime trip to WDW and surrounding area. The trip will include my parents, two of my sisters, my husband and my 11yo twin sons. Both of my sons are on the autism spectrum (along with OCD, ADHD and anxiety) and have multiple life threatening food allergies, and my youngest sister has William's syndrome co morbid with autism, and mobility issues. So with a wide age range, a tight budget and a pretty varied set of special needs to cater to, I have been haunting these boards for a few weeks now trying to learn as much as I can to make our dream vacation go as smoothly as possible. And I'd like to say thanks to everyone who contributes to this site, especially on the DISabilities board. What a wealth of information here!

I have been to Disneyland with my husband and sons in 2008 (and completely and utterly fell in love the second I set foot on Main Street!), and through careful planning using info gleaned here & other places online, and with Ridemax plans in hand, it was a WONDERFUL experience. I am hoping for the same with this trip!
