Hi Disney friends-
I have recently discovered the WISH section of DIS, and since I have recently made some new health goals I would like to participate.
I signed up for the Disney Marathon, not half, having never run before
. I got the book The Non-Runners Marathon Trainer, and hope that will help me work towards this goal. Disney is MY happiest place on Earth, so if I'm going to do a Marathon, the only place I would want to do it is there.
I am at least 60-65 lbs overweight. I gained 57 lbs when undergoing fertility treatments to conceive my boys, and have been unable to shed the weight by my usual means (I think b/c it was pharmaceutically induced). So I have acknowledged that I have to amp up my exercise, and since I have always wanted to do a marathon, thought I would use the training as a means to also drop some weight.
One of my questions is how to use the icons in the signature. For instance the weight amounts or size amounts. Do you post your goal weight or size lost or what you have accomplished along the way?
Anyone else a non-runner attempting their first Marathon? Any tips or suggestions?
