i joined a wee while back, but when i forst booked my holiday it was such a long time away.

well seing as were almost halfway through january i thought id start looking

ive gotten a few books from the library, and being honest it stresses me out just reading them.

i feel as if its some tv game show and ill be at the park entrance trainers and stop watches at the ready who can get round quick enough wins the race.

i realise i need to do some planning to make the most of it. but i dont want to tie myself down too much. i go on the 20th of september untill the 4th oct, staying at the hawthorne suite, I drive...

i have 3 children g13 b8 and g5

i was thinking of booking 1 or 2 character meals i thought about the cinderella castle one but i seams like too much work and price could be very very costly. i read about another one was that norweigen but the food doesnt apeall and for the money id rather at least like to eat something..

is there any recomendations from anyone. and could you tell me how to go about booking

my other definate plans is swimming with dolphins on the middle sat with my eldest dd at discovery cove but due to money only the 2 of us are going

and my last question for just now is mine and 2 of the kids got our passports 3 years ago are these new enough to use for the US, ours is differnt from dh being ours is on the second last page and has the sig scanned onto the page. im assuming that ill need to renew his and ill double check with the travelagents as well

thank you for taking the time to respond, i appreciate it

We have done both (over two seperate holidays) when my girls were both into and believing princeses...we had breakfast in the castle, the food was pretty poor, but your really paying for the character interaction...which was superb...the princeses were just like out of the storybooks...even down to the corrrect accents! We also did the lunch at norway, the following year, where we found the opposite to be the case.....but everyone has different experiences....I can however recommend chef mickeys at the contempary...great fun and also chip and dale at the garden grill at epcot, the food there was fantastic and we lost count how many times the characters visited our table....HAPPY PLANNING :surfweb:

Hi and welcome along Heather !!

I know everyone has different opinions on here but personally I don't like being tied to having to go to a certain restaurant at a certain time and date.
We've been to WDW 7 times now and this year will be our 8th visit.
We're not great planners either - we decide when we get up in the morning what we will do that day. I find it works much better that way. I feel as long as we visit every park that's the main thing.

We like the restaurants on International Drive - Bahama Breeze, Ponderosa, Bennigans, Sizzlers, etc. The quality is good and so are the prices.

I'm afraid I can't help with the passport question, but am sure someone will come along who can advise about that.
