Looking at TP's historical crowd levels, October 2016 and July 2016 appear quite similar.
Ah, well, more and more schools, not just those in FL but all over the South, are getting a fall break. A full week off in October. The more this happens the more you find a mini-Spring Break season at Disney. I guess that would be a week to avoid. But like Spring Break, it's sort of scattered throughout all of Oct so not really a concentrated week
Gwinnett County doesn't ever have a fall break but some other metro Atlanta counties do. And a lot of other states have them.I just searched the school calendar for Gwinnett County for 2017 and they don't have a break until Thanksgiving for some time to take off for the parks. So, I think Hell Week is not something to really concern yourself about. Maybe local kids go to the parks but it wouldn't be anything different from anything else. I've been to Disney World a lot of times and have seen a lot of things and have gone during all times of the year. If I encounter a group behaving "badly", I just adjust and move on. And I am talking adults and younger people. In my opinion, go to Disney World when you can go and let everything else work out.
That's the only hell week that came to my mind, too.Isn't that week in reference to when fraternities and sororities do their pledging/hazing? I wouldn't think that would have any kind of impact on Disney unless the hazing involved riding Stitch's Great Escape over and over again.
This is where my mind went too. And I thought? Since when was Disney a destination for pledging/hazing? Then I thought maybe they are confusing Grad Night at DL, which can be a nightmare at times but isn't a weekIsn't that week in reference to when fraternities and sororities do their pledging/hazing? I wouldn't think that would have any kind of impact on Disney unless the hazing involved riding Stitch's Great Escape over and over again.
Hope not - we planned October to be quieter !!!

I didn't mean "quiet" but less than school summer break according to calendars! We have gone to WDW for the last 13 years. Each and every year was busier than the year before. It is NOT a quiet time of year anymore.
It used to be...but I wouldn't count on it.I didn't mean "quiet" but less than school summer break according to calendars!

) I think the crows will be equal to, if not heavier than past years.I too had never heard of "hell week" before this thread.
