Anyone want to speculate on when we will get more details on the Helios Grand Hotel? Specifically details on room types, suite options, and food options inside the hotel - particularly for breakfast.
I know it’s a “lottery-winner daydream” destination, but I’m eager to hear all the details.

I'm interested in when I can book.

Restaurants i figure a $$$ signature restaurant. A restaurant which serves 3 meals, such as HRH Kitchen. Room rypes similar to PBH, maybe a little smaller.

The real question. How will the expensive suites be themed.

Still no news on when rooms are available to book?
It looks like an amazing resort!

It'll likely come later this year. It's the most anticipated hotel, and my guess is that they are still figuring out pricing and benefits (Express [if any, we'll see], Early Entry, etc.), and they don't want to release those before they are sure.

Also most likely at least some of the exits and/or emergency exits are funneled out into what is still an active construction zone.

Temporary fencing and construction walls would take weeks, if not days. Bad show and bad guest satisfaction.

A few months ago, I said the cheapest room would be around $1000. Now I'm thinking $1200 to $1500 if Early Entry and Express are included.

We should hear something before the end of the year.

I wonder, speculate, how many rooms will be allocated for VIP packages. 2 or 3 nights. A couple of meals. A souvenir laminated laynard ticket. Some swag items

I actually wonder if Helios reservations will have exclusive ticket options for Epic beyond the initial multi-day-but-only-one-day-epic-universe tickets that are heavily rumored right now.

IMO it would suck if you booked Helios and had that park right at your doorstep but you could only access it once every three days+ on your vacation.

It's not rumors, although many bloggers are going with the headlines and are going light with the details.

The ticket information is only with regards to which tickets THIRD-PARTY sellers will INITIALLY be allowed to offer to their customers .

I'd be shocked if Helios guests aren't offered $$$ length of stay passes to EPIC.

Do you think Helios will have balconies? I'm guessing that the majority of rooms will NOT, especially if they're planning to have fireworks in the vicinity.

Extremely few rooms at the existing Universal hotels have balconies. Posted construction photos don't show any signs of balconies. New hotels don't generally have balconies.

Do the math

They may be waiting to announce the opening of EPIC. Makes sense if the opening is concurrent with EPIC. Guests aren't interested in a hotel overlooking an under construction, not opened, theme park.
I'd LOVE to see that! I'd be totally interested in staying and just looking out the windows watching the construction.

I may have missed it, but wonder if there was a mention that only hotel guests will be allowed to park in the garage. We wanted to just tour the hotel before deciding on a reservation. The same for Stella Nova and Lunar Terra.

Cabana Bay and Aventura charges day guests a $50 daily parking fee; resort guests pay $23 per night. Universal doesn’t want guests parking at resorts for Volcano Bay.

I suspect parking at the 3 EPIC resorts is intended for registered guests

The official Introducing Universal Helios Grand Hotel video is up on You Tube.

They did mention a breakfast-lunch-dinner table service restaurant, and HTTYD Kids Suites (love them!). Standard rooms look small, but resort looks great overall.

No mention of included hotel express passes but guests will get

other exclusive theme park benefits
