Helicoptors at WDW

Just got back yesterday and we noticed red (I think) helicoptors that circle the parks and DD occasionally. Anyone know if this is Disney security or something else?

For fee you can have a pilot fly you around Orlando/WDW too.

Disney also uses helicopters for various purposes. Definetly to ferry executives and other VIPs and they may also have some for security....especially watching for wildfires etc. in the open areas.

We were there July3-4 and we noticed tons of helicopters, mostly over the Polynesian, so in MK area. We thought maybe it was for security over the holiday, but we never found out if that was true.
