Helen Hunt gives birth to baby girl

Actress Helen Hunt, 41, gave birth to her first child, a girl named Makena' lei Gordon Carnahan, who was born on May 13 in Los Angeles. The baby's first name comes from a town in Maui, Hawaii, and her middle name is from Hunt's father, TV director Gordon Hunt. She arrived several weeks early, weighing about 6 pounds.

I think the name Makena'lei is cute, however it would be nice if I knew how to pronounce it!

Just read the press release on YAHOO and saw another crazy celebrity name. At least they didn't name it "Banana" or another fruit. One Apple is enough

She does, they've been together since 2001. He's a producer of tv shows. The baby has his last name.

I loved her in Twister & As Good As It Gets. But my all time favorite is an oldie called "Once Around" with Richard Dreyfuss and Danny Aiello. Marvelous movie. Hope she makes more after the baby.

I just love Helen Hunt....actually, I STILL watch Mad About You EVERY night at 1 and 1:30......back to back reruns!!!!!!!!!

I just can't seem to go to sleep without watching it!!!!! And I even have to be up at 7am!!!


I am watching it right now as a matter of fact, on lifetime!!!! This is one of the first episodes!!!!!
