Height restrictions for rides...

Put it this way, if something bad was to happen, god forbid. You wouldn't really have a leg to stand on as you have gone against the park rules. You could only blame yourself, and it would stay with you for the rest of your life, is it worth taking the risk?
 
Hmmm. Fair point about the safety thing....

However, I seem to be cast as the uncaring parent here by some of you who think I'll do ANYTHING to get my child on the rides regardless of whether its safe or not. I was only asking... Are you lot saying that if you're child was 39.5in that you wouldnt let him on a ride that he/she really wanted to go n if you could ???

I understand the heights are there for a reason, but it would be nice if he was dead on 40" rather than 39 1/2 !!!!!

Also, as one previous poster mentioned, in the UK, I've yet to see anywhere thats that fussy about heights etc.
