height restriction bracelet?

i thought i read somewhere - maybe disneyland - that you could get your child measured somewhere - and they would have a bracelet for the day - advising what rides they were tall enough for - to avoid disappointments at actual attractions when kids are "so" close.....looking at any of 4 parks....
