This may be a strange question. I will be in DL in October for the weekend with myself, my DD(6) and DS(4). We just got back a few weeks ago - and both kids absolutely loved every 40 inch ride. My question is, how many of the rides will either a) a CM let me ride on with two younguns, and b) how many of them would you consider it to be a safe idea. Allow me to also note that my kids are tiny!!! DD(6) is 43 inches and barely 40 pounds - and my DS(4) is barely 40 inches (grow baby - I wanna ride GRR), and 31 pounds.

The rides where you can squeeze 3 in one row or vehicle:
Peter Pan (possible, but not uncomfortable)
Haunted Mansion (again, like Peter Pan)
Mr. Toad? (might be tight)
Dumbo (might be tight)
Winnie-the-Pooh
Astro Orbitor
Autopia (again maybe tight squeeze, but you can't go separately because of the 52" driving restriction)

Rides where you will have to ride 2 people in 1 vehicle and 1 in another:
Buzz Lightyear (1 person gets 2 guns!)

Rides where you will have to ride 2 people in 1 row and 1 in another, but same train:
*Big Thunder
*Space
Gadget's Go Coaster
Roger Rabbit
Matterhorn

Rides where you will have to ride 2 people in 1 row and 1 in another ,but same vehicle:
Snow White
Pinocchio
Alice
*Splash

The rest of the rides you can all ride sitting next to each other.

*signifies 40" height requirement

I guess my real question is then how many of you would allow a small 6 year old to ride in their own car of a ride (or would the CM allow it) - to me it seems scary - am I just being crazy and overprotective??? :confused3

Most of the rides that I know of (without height requirements) require the child to be 7 years old before they can ride alone.

I know there are some rides where I have heard the CM's say you have to be 8 years old to ride alone. . . trying to remember which ones.

The only one where I see there might be a problem is Matterhorn. Otherwise, if your 6 year old is brave enough to ride on her own, then I'd say it's safe. After all, she does meet the height requirement.
