Hello,

Is there a place were the kids can be measured at and banned/stamped with their height so that we do not have to constantly loose time and our places in line ?
Last year March 05' was kind of upsetting.
My 4 year old was 40" in shoes and 39.5 without. I made sure to have him measured at the entrance of the rides with a cast member so that way we could divert to a different ride if needed . He measured ok and we were told to proceed. Great! or so I thought......
Well, he was measured a second time at the boarding platform for Splash Mountain the lady remeasured by swiping the height bar over and across his head. It got stuck at the crown of his head but not at his forehead she then told us he could not go on. My son threw the hissy fit of his life crying and screaming what a mess. On top of that because I didnt think we needed the parent swap I ended up having to wait in line all over again to go on with my my 9 year old son.
I Do Not want this to happen again so I wanted to know if there was a way of avoiding this hassle.

MOMMY IN NEED OF ADVICE!!!

What you are suggesting would be a great idea. To my knowledge, the only place that offers this is Disney Quest.

You lost me, where do they measure you from, top of your head, or
forehead ?

Thats weird. My DD rode everything she wanted and none of the bars hit her at her forehead. She could fit under the bar and the top of her crown would touch. She was exactly 40" with her shoes on.

To answer you question they don't have a central measuring system at WDW.

My DD3 was measured at Kali and given an arm band that said "38 inches" to wear for the rest of the day. That was the only time that I have ever seen the bands.

Hello Again,

Thanks for the info.
I guess just grin and bear it. LOL
As far as height measurement they usually just put you up to the height bar if you head is even you can go on. The back of my son's head was even but not the front. So he was unable to go on. I think this height measuments differ between cast memebers hence while he passed up front and not at boarding. After that I avoided every ride with a 40" minium to avoid another hissy fit and crushed hopes.
I thank everyone soo much for responding.

Cant Wait To Go!!!
