THIS IS NOT A POST ON HOW I CAN GET AROUND THE HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS!! I AM NOT INTERESTED IN DOING THAT. I do have a quick question. We go to so many amusement parks they all start to run together. My son is 44 inches tall in the morning. He is not in the evening- Seriously, that is how close he is to the 44 inch mark. Does someone measure at the beginning of the ride? I would hate to go through the line and him not make the cut.

Someone will measure him at the beginning of the queue, but he will probably be measured just before boarding as well.

They measure at the beginning and the end of the line. Standing in line does not guarentee he will get to ride. The measurement at load is the final say so.

They will measure at least twice. In the space mountain line my DD was measured THREE times. Very stressful for ME!

Thanks!! He has a hard time standing still to be measured, so we will just have to see how tall they say he is and risk it. He is exactly 44 inches tall when he wakes up in the morning. But, not by the end of the day. I guess we will ride the tall rides first. :)

That is the best way to go. We all shrink a little bit during the day as our spines compress. Make sure he knows the goal is to hit the measuring bar with his head.

You know, I read about how strict the height checks are. My almost two year old was probably 32.1" tall and wasn't checked at all for the Tomorrowland Speedway.

She was being carried so maybe that's the loophole. I should have tried to carry her on to Space Mountain.

Be wary of the sneakers he is wearing also. I'm not sure if it's true for all the height rides but for rock n roller coaster, if the sole of the shoe seems bigger and the child is right on the edge of "just passed", they will ask for the shoes to be removed to get a final measurement in just socks.

I'm surprised they didn't stop you when you were carrying her. Usually that is something that screams I'm not the right size yet but mom is sneaking me on.
