IMG_7232.jpg

I guess Soarin’ will have too much of a line, but maybe we can go on Living With The Land

IMG_7983.jpg

IMG_7996.jpg

before we will visit some of the countries around World Showcase.

IMG_8141.jpg

IMG_8129.jpg

IMG_7589.jpg

Maybe we can even help Kim Possible to accomplish one of her assignments.

IMG_0259.jpg

We will have to check out the new Karamel Kitchen in Germany and when we finally arrive in Mexico we will most probably end up visiting “The Ditch”, La Cava de Tequila! We went there last February and we loved it!

IMG_4516.jpg

By then it should be time for our dinner reservation at Le Cellier.

IMG_7307.jpg

I don’t know IF they will change their menu until then, but if not I am so looking forward to the Mushroom Filet!

We should be finished with dinner just in time to stake out a nice spot to view Illuminations.

And after that amazing firework display we will head back to our villa or maybe make a short visit to Downtown Disney before we are off to bed.

Thanks for helping to talk Yuki into it, Rosie!

Yeah, I'd love to meet Samantha! :yay: This is going to be fun!! :dance3:

Andrew is not ready to go back? :scared1: You need to work harder on him, Yuki! :lmao:

It would be so much fun if you could make it! We will arrive in Orlando on August 13 and leave for the Dream on August 21! We'll stay on the Dream for 11 nights (3 cruises) before we head back to WDW from Sept 1 to 10!
I hope you can make it work - Rosiemeet is on Aug 19!!! :goodvibes

OK...I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous here. :rolleyes1 Before I took my job at my current school, which I love, don't get me wrong, I would have loved to have gone down to Disney in mid-August. I have heard the crowds are better than they are at the beginning of the summer and I could meet up with all of you!

Thankfully, we'll be seeing Karin and Tom in February! And believe me, Karin, our plans with your are all set.

It sounds as though all of our plans for day four are quite similar! We are also headed to EPCOT in the evening. We have reservations at Biergarten (did I spell that correctly??) and I am hopeful we'll make Illuminations that night, as well. :goodvibes It is my favorite fireworks display! :cool1: Even if Max doesn't make it, my mom and I might send Mark and Max back to CSR and we'll stick around WS for the show. I am so excited!!!!!

Oh! While LeCellier and all the other pics are great, I am stuck back at FTBBQ and Beach & Cream - two of my favorite places! Have not had a chance to visit B&C in a few yrs so I may have to be sure it is on the list next time I get to WDW. :thumbsup2

Lovin' the pics, Karin! (You might have already explained and I missed it...but what is on Mickey's face? Looks like half a coconut?? Too cute holding Mickey on EE!!)

Hopping it the best! I cannot imagine having a basic tkt - we visited long before hopping was something a guest had to pay for, so not being able to come and go, here and there at will, is just not right! We hop everywhere: parks, resorts. DTD. ::yes::

Hope you are having as magical Saturday! :goodvibes

Great plans Karin !!! I am sooo looking forward to August 19th !! We will make more definate plans once I have the plane tickets booked and know for sure we will be arriving EARLY !!! Much as Judy HATES the early morning flights (or any flight) that NON stop morning one is the one we always shoot for !! Usually puts us into MCO by 10 a.m.!!

Yuki I hear Christine is looking at a short trip too mmmmmm!!!!

Haha I love the EE photo!

OMG when did you take that photo of the line for SE? I have never seen it that long in my entire life!

You will be able to get your mushroom filet at Le Cellier in February. They switch to the new menu on March 1st!

Day 4 sounds fab, great lunch and dinner choices :thumbsup2

Karin I love the pictures of CSR. When we had dinner at the Maya
Grille back in Oct. Mickey said he would like to stay there next time. We got an email yesterday with a pin number for 35% off moderates, so I think I will take them up on it and add a couple of days at CSR before our cruise on the Dream in Sept. I am really excited about it. Maybe that will give us an opportunity to arrange a meet with you and Tom to hear about your cruise and get some tips on the Dream.:woohoo:

I'm with you on the early morning, non-stop flights, Rosie. :thumbsup2 I think it makes the most sense and its great getting into MCO so early!

Day 4 sounds like a really good day! Mmmm, flame tree bbq. I can't wait to try that. It was closed on my trip.

It's looking like Aug.15-19th are the dates for me. Nothing is solid yet. I'll put the deposit down and buy the MWY tickets, but if flight prices don't go down to where I'd like them to be, then I won't be going. We'll just have to wait and see.

So....don't think I'll be able to make that Aug 19th meet, but if my trip goes through, I'd love to just spend some time in the parks with you two!

Every time you post that picture my mouth waters! STOP!!!! :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

When ARE you going back to school, Tina? Thankfully we have 9 weeks off in the summer and will only go back on Sept 12! It would be so much fun to plan a really big meet! :goodvibes

But you are right - it will be lots of fun in just under 6 weeks! Can you imagine that in 6 weeks from today we will already be at WDW? :yay: :yay: :yay:

Hey great! You have an Epcot evening planned too! I am not a huge fan of Biergarten ...... guess I am just living to close to it and they still "nick" from other countries there. Last time we were there, they still sold "Toblerone" which clearly says Switzerland and the Ferrero products they kept selling are definitely Italian. I won't even mention that they sell "Mozartkugeln", which are Austrian, even if the brand they sell is produced in Germany! LOL!
I really really hope we'll stay for Illuminations as we have not seen it in a long time - I love WISHES, something to do with fireworks going off behind a castle, I guess and we always make sure I can see it a few times, but we have VERY often skipped Illumations.

Only 41 more days, Tina! Less than 6 weeks now! :dance3:  :cool1: :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:

FTBBQ was closed last summer! :sad2: And B&C is a must do every trip. Especially when we meet up with Mary Ellen and Joe. Our first "meal" together is always at B&C - apart from one time we have always shared a Kitchen Sink! LOL

No, I didn't explain about Mickey's mask. We love to take hat photos of Tom, now, whenever there is a hat that fits my Pal Mickey, he has to try it on too. In addition to a fun hat we found this mask and Mickey insisted on trying it on and have his photo taken! :rotfl2:

We have always had Hopper Passes too! And now that we hold APs I could not even imagine doing it any other way.
We love our APs. So much freedom on where you wanna go - no problem if you don't like where you are, just hop on over somewhere else.
Discounts at the World of Disney! ...... but most importantly - room discounts and the possibility to buy a TiW card! Don't leave home without it! :rotfl2:

Thank you, Rosie!
Once we will have the park hours I will start making definite plans and we can figure out where to meet!
I really really hope you can get that early flight! We love getting to DLRP early in the day - no way we could do that when travelling to WDW! :sad2: It takes us about 15 hours from check in until we arrive with stopover and all!

Haha I love the EE photo!

OMG when did you take that photo of the line for SE? I have never seen it that long in my entire life!

:thumbsup2 Glad you had a good laugh with the EE photo!

I think that SE photo was taken during President's week last year! It is a line I would NOT get into!

Thanks for letting me know about the menu change at Le Cellier. I was not sure if they would start a "trial" run of a new menu before they change it to signature dining!

Thank you, Stefy! :goodvibes

The CSR is beautiful. I got really interested when I saw photos on Kathy's (KatMark) thread! We loved staying there!
Which cruise are you going on in September? We'll disembark on September 1 and stay at OKW until Sept 10! It would be so much fun to meet you guys again! Please say hello to Mickey from Tom and me!

I'm with you on the early morning, non-stop flights, Rosie. :thumbsup2 I think it makes the most sense and its great getting into MCO so early!

:thumbsup2 Here's to hoping you BOTH can get in early! I know you WILL, Tina!

Yes, I know, we missed FTBBQ too last summer - bummer!

Oh, is there no way you can fit in the 19th? I am sure Rosie would love to meet you too and it would be a shame to just miss each other by a few hours! :sad2:

I have a random question, that I'm sure you know the answer too. I keep thinking about Beaches and Cream. I know with the dining plan you can eat and get desert. But can you go and just get an icecream with a snack credit? I am thinking no, but then I am second guessing myself. I really want to find time to go over and have some there. the No way Jose keeps calling my name. LOL!

I can highly recommend Beaches and Cream! The ice-cream sundaes are incredible and the atmosphere is so much fun .....

BUT, you won't be able to use a snack credit for a sundae. You can get a one scoop cone for a snack credit, but unfortunately the No Way Jose is not a snack credit. :sad2:

Thanks, I figured that. But if I can fit it in, we may go one day and have it. Claire and I can share it easily I'm sure. Since it will be just an extra snack. LOL! I need to start figuring things out a little better. And get Skip to commit on the dates.

Most of the sundaes are HUGE and really big enough to share. I'll keep my fingers crossed Skip will give his okay for the dates! ;) :thumbsup2
Planning is one of my favourite things to do, too!

Day 5, February 23, 2011 - Part 1

We will need to set our alarms this morning as we have a very early breakfast reservation at Crystal Palace.

IMG_4249.jpg

DSC_0030.jpg

Last year we followed Kathy’s recommendation and tried it for the first time. She was spot on, the breakfast was really nice, the characters fun and being in the park nearly on our own was just wonderful.

IMG_4256.jpg

IMG_4255.jpg

I guess we will finish breakfast right around the time the park opens officially and we will then head towards Adventureland right away. I guess we will pick up a Fast Pass for BTMRR,

IMG_7832.jpg

then get in line right away and after that make our way back to Pirates

DSC_0036.jpg

and the Jungle Cruise.

IMG_7858.jpg

I guess we will have a few snacks along the way,

IMG_7777.jpg

may I say Mickey Bar, Raspberry Lemonade Slush, Popcorn to name a few?
Next on our list of rides will be our FP for BTMRR

IMG_8098.jpg

IMG_7835.jpg

and maybe we can even pick up another one if the return time is not too far out. We will most probably track over to the Haunted Mansion

IMG_7826.jpg

and after that maybe we’ll brave “It’s A Small World” and enjoy Philharmagic. If we feel like it we will head for Cosmic Ray’s and share one of the new burgers they offer.

We don’t want to fill up too much, as we still have something else planned for a little later!
Guess we could fit in a ride on the Peoplemover

IMG_7873.jpg

and maybe that extra ride on BTMRR.

IMG_7840.jpg

And by then it will be time to leave the Magic Kingdom and board a Monorail over to the Grand Floridian Resort.

CP does look like alot of fun, and delicious, too! Plus, you get to be in an empty MK!:thumbsup2 I always say AK is my favorite park, but the last time we were there, MK just felt like "home." We had our most fun there, so I'm loving this day you have planned - it is just so DISNEY! ::MickeyMo

Oh, more wonderful pics!!! You know, I've not been on the Jungle Cruise in YEARS!!! :sad1: I'm hoping if I do get to squeeze in a short trip this summer, there will be enough time in the MK for this one....and POC...and HM...and People Mover....and TMSEP. :rotfl2:

Enjoying this PTR VERY much!!! :yay:
