Here at 10:15 it is coming down big flakes and fast. But at nine there was nothing. Doug got to work early before the snow started... we will see how coming home goes.
I think about two minutes after I posted that, it started showering down HUGE flakes REALLY quickly!!! I guess I posted too soon!Tom went in at 6 to avoid the snow......I just hope he makes it home okay!
Oh my! What great updates!!I'm finally all caught up...
First of all, it made my heart so happy to read what you said about Tom and your relationship (after your Christmas date). You obviously have an amazing relationship. My husband is my best friend in the world, and I could relate to so much you were saying! We're so blessed
I also loved the holiday pics--you all have some great things to do/see around Christmas-time! And Megs wanting you to open your gift first is just so sweet.
Disneyland would be SOO amazing!! I hope you get to start planning a trip sometime during this TR!
And lastly, WOW! What a MK day!!!You three just had the greatest time--it's so obviously that the Magic Kingdom is your family's favorite place on earth. How special!

Jen....I'm glad I could make you chuckle!!!! "White Death" is the term Tom and I have come up with---many others use it too---to describe every snow storm we get. For whatever reason---like there is NOTHING else going on in the world---our news channels go into hyper mode everytime any accumulating snow is predicted----they act if literally the end of the world is coming, and we should all duck and cover!!!! It never fails---they always feel it is necessary to do actual news stories about how people are "flocking" to the stores to stock up on food and supplies. It really is quite funny!!!! We have a prediction of only 4-6" for today/tomorrow, but you would think a blizzard was on its' way by the tone of their stories!!!! Yes, my dear, WHITE DEATH is on its' way-----not seen much of it yet though!!!![]()
That is SOOO funny you call it white death!! Ryan and I use the very same term to describe how the Cincy forecasters predict this stuff. I love the extended coverage with people standing all over the city to report on how deep the snow is every 10 minutes. We grew up in Michigan so this is nothing to us.
And the TR -- you guys had some seriously action packed days! So fun!! I can't believe the stamina Megan had!
Just a thought to entice you to come out to Disneyland: the Original Tiki Room. That show is wonderful, and so nostalgic! Also, the weather in SoCal can get hot during the summer, but the humidity is so low. We've had really hot weather in May some years, other years, July was downright pleasant. You never know if you'll be there in the midst of a heatwave.
Sure, the two parks are no where near the size of WDW, but it's compact & intimate. It's a pleasure not having to get on a bus to see another park - you just walk across a plaza to the other park. Plus - there are lots of non-Disney things to see in LA.
I'm enjoying reading your installments (you sure know how to tease your audience!). MORE! MORE!
I am SO going to make him one for the next time we go!!!! He would SO wear it too!!! He loves his royal status as the "FP King!"
Can you believe we did all that?!?!?! AND THERE IS STILL MORE!!!!!!!!!
Another announcement??? Do I need to badger you like I badgered Wigd?Don't leave us hanging for too long, Jen!
