I vote for DHS.

They are not preferred, but I enjoy the rooms that face the lake and EPCOT in the 50's and 60's, upper floors. It is great seeing the Epcot ball in the morning as you leave the room, and the fireworks outside your door at night. Even if you do not have a room facing in that direction it is fun to walk over one night and watch the fireworks, without the noise.

That was THE best comedy that I've seen in a few YEARS. SERIOUSLY! Sounds like you would agree with me...

Hooray for HOLLYWOOD!!!!!

I think DHS is such a fun, little interesting park!!! I have enjoyed it since the first time I visited there many years ago...and I think that enjoyment is now starting to rub off onto Miss Megan. I feel like this park has a little something for each member of our family....a little Movie Nostalgia for me, some Animated Friends for Megs, and some of Tom's favorite Action and Adventure characters---Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

The other thing I think we overall enjoy at this park is that there isn't a MASSIVE amount of things that we have to do or a LOT of ground to cover either, so we take our time, enjoy the scenery, and enjoy whatever we see and do in the park. SO, what is it that we do?????

MUSTS

Megan (but really all three of us as well): Her #1 Must DO is Toy Story Mania!!!!

We all love this ride SO much!!! We are actually hoping to not only score a FP to use later in the day, but actually be able to go through the stand-by line without too much wait at least once because we have yet to see it, and I hear it is SO good!!! We shall see!!!

Me: Tower of Terror!!!! I LOVE this ride!!! I am hoping Megan is up to it this year since she is tall enough, but I am not sure she will be brave enough yet!!! Tom can't ride it because of his Motion Sickness, so I REALLY hope I get to at least once!

Tom: Great Movie Ride...I also like this one too...it is just so classic Disney-MGM that it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!

LOVES

Some of our other loves that we will be sure to hit are the following:

---The Voyage of the Little Mermaid (I never get tired of this, and Megan loves the Under the Sea part!)
---Playhouse Disney Live on Stage (We REALLY like this so much better since they have updated the characters...Megan had no idea who the Bear was the first time she saw it!)

---One Man's Dream (I think EVERYONE should go see this at least once....we love seeing all the memorabilia and the movie always puts a lump in my throat!)
---Beauty and the Beast (Even though Tom would be hesitant to admit this, we ALL like this show...so well done!)
---Star Tours (How do we NOT go on this ride?!?!?!)
---Muppet Vision 3D (Tom and I like remembering this classic from our childhood, and even though Megan doesn't really know them that well, she enjoys the show and thinks it is funny!)

---Character Meet N Greets!!!! (Some of our favorites are the Cars and the Toy Story Gangs, but Megan will try to take advantage of as many as possible!)

DON'TS

There are not many here, but they are all don'ts for the same reasons: they will either be too much for Megan or too much for Tom!!!

--Lights! Motors! Action! (This would seriously put my child into a sensory overload coma!!! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!)
--Sounds Dangerous (Again...way too much sensory stimuli in this one!)
--Rock N Rollercoaster (Although I LOVE this ride, we all will bypass in Sept because Tom would get sick, and Megan is not tall enough yet. I don't mind giving it up this time since I have no one else to ride it with!)

New This Year
I am hoping that we can possibly take in some new things this year while at DHS as well:
---Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set (I think Megan might like climbing around in there)
---Disney Animation Tour (I would LOVE to do this, but it will depend on how well Miss Megs is feeling up to it!)
---Pixar Parade (I think this one looks cute!)

---And not really new, but trying again----FANTASMIC! Megan said that she wants to see it this year, but I am still somewhat holding my breath on that one!!!! We shall see!!!


So that is it for our DHS Musts, Loves, and DON'TS!!!! You all know that means that MK is next.... I hope you are looking forward to it!!!!

Now....I need some help, I need some info on the busing situation from those of you who have stayed at POP and can give me details about how often the buses are crowded to capacity, what the normal waits are like, etc., etc., etc.!!!! My hubby REALLY wants to know!!!

I know you guys will have a great time!! Also if you are looking for characters make sure you take a look at the Animation Studio...they have some great meet and greets there that I know Megs would really enoy!

I took my son last year on TOT. He was 4. He had no idea what it was. We just did on a whim. Sometimes it is better not to explain beforehand.

He told me he did not like the falling, but he liked when people got electrocuted during the storm

He didn't cry. So Meg might surprise you and actually like it

POP buses really aren't that bad. We always got a seat on the way to parks but on the way back sometimes we didn't. All of the park buses are direct to the parks with no stops, I'm pretty sure the DTD is the only that has stops at water parks. Though I am not 100% sure.

Megan's Daddy is trying to convince her to love all things Star Wars like him, but so far she has been very resilient......still too attached to her Princesses!!!!

That doesn't sound too bad at all!!! MUCH better than ASMO!!!! Do you know which section of the resort would be the closest to the bus stop?? I have a preferred room, and would like to request a room close to the bus stop too!

I found the Pop buses to be bearable in September. As with any resort, the bus stops get more crowded around 30 minutes before the park opens. I tried to get my DH there before that time but he was always slow in the morning. I don't believe we had to wait any longer than the 2nd bus load though. Hope that helps!

She enjoys this "Mini" drop like ride at our local Kings Island theme park, and I think that will help her ease any fears she may have.....but we shall see!!!!

Megs has seen it, but it has been 2 years since....she was a pool of sobbing and crying when we last took her, but now says she is a big girl and wants to watch it! I can't wait for TSM either....I SO hope we can do it more than once!
