It was a killjoy, but at least we have POP now!!!

We actually got it from Cold Stone....we would have normally walked up to Graeter's (BEST ICE CREAM EVER....ANYWHERE....ASK OPRAH), but since we wanted to chill out by the river, we just went through there and then headed to a bench. It was still good!

I am still happy about the switch to the preferred POP room......now I just have to go do some research on POP and find out what that means......anyone here been to POP so you can give me all the scoop??!??!?!

I TOTALLY agree!!! The sweet lady even tried to console me by telling me not to be too upset, because they only had like 15 rooms to give out, and I should just be happy I received the pin code. I was thinking....ONLY 15 ROOMS?!?!?!?! You send out this mass email, and then you only have 15 rooms???? CRAZY!!!!

And you are some brave girls if you're going on EE!!! I can't muster up that courage, that's for sure. I can't wait to hear about your breakfast at Tusker House. That's one of the ressies that has eluded me so it'll be nice to live vicariously through you.

You know what, hon? You are a big proponent of everything happening for a reason, and you are always so upbeat, making lemonade out of lemons. It's okay to be upset about the non-upgrade, but it's also okay to be so pysched that you got Pop!

I really believe this is a great resort for you, and I think you'll love it. PM me if you want pictures from my past trips, I'll throw together whatever I can to ease your mind.

There is a great thread on the resort broad about Pop Century, the first page has a great deal 0f wonderful information.

I believe the preferred rooms are the rooms that face inward in the 50's(pool side), 60's(pool side) and 70's.

I have to get my kids over to the Cincy zoo one of these days. It looks like a fun day trip. I know we did that from time to time when I was a kid. WE just came back from a Fri/Sat. in your neighborhood when my parents took us to Great Wolf Lodge/King's Island for DD's birthday. It's just not that bad a drive...we need to remember that!

I will keep trying.....I am thinking that I am going to run out of luck though.....the people had to PIF when they took the upgrade, so I can't see many people who already paid off their trips cancel them. BUT I WILL TRY!!!!
