Hef & Holly split!!!!!

Found out in a gearhead forum that he's now 'seeing' these 18 1/2 y/o twins who should be in a upcoming pictorial.

And I don't care what ya'll say...I'd still give my left one to be him for a day.

I've recently become a fan of the show. It has it's funny moments. I think that picture of him with the 18 year olds is ugly. I wouldn't want my 18 year old niece dating a man that old.

Holly wants to be married - Hefner is married to someone else and (still) hasn't gotten a divorce after all these years.

The fact of his marriage hasn't made a lot of difference to Holly for many years. Now it does, I guess. At some point you realize that if someone won't marry you but they remain married to someone else - it isn't about the institution of marriage - it's about YOU.

As for the wanting children issue - nothing is stopping her from adopting a child if she really wanted one. Someone in Hef's financial situation could probably arrange a private adoption. Plenty of people who love someone who happens to be infertile for one reason or another don't let their partner's infertility keep them apart if they really are in love.

Holly has realized that ultimately she is never going to get a commitment out of Hef because he isn't interested. She will go the way of Hef's first wife, other longtime girlfriends like Barbi Benton (who moved on and did quite well for herself after Hef) and many other girlfriends he has had over the years. Some came out better off and some went entirely on the skids. We'll see about Holly.

she didn't listen to what he said and she figured if she stuck it out long enough, she'd make him change his mind.

I do actually like her, and I feel bad for her.

I wish her success, and not just to be known as one of Hef's exes.

What I know about this show and the Girls I get mostly from Joel McHale and The Soup, but my impression is that Holly wanted a family/baby and saw Hef as a financially secure meal-ticket. The youngest girl is a DOPE! and the other one seems normal.

Hef already has kids - almost grown by now, right? - so why start over again with the Bimbette-du-jour?

I don't see how believable season 6 will be if no one lives in the mansion! I will watch season 5, but not sure on the next one. If it's true on how they split, I give applause to Holly for sticking with what she really wants-marriage & kids-instead of just staying cuz he's rich. But, I have heard is is having financial trouble. I don't understand why he just won't get a divorce! And if he truly loved Holly, why not just get married?

(Emphasis mine) Hef has been in financial trouble for year. His daughter holds the purse strings. Playboy owns the mansion, Hef doesn't. He pays expenses for living there. He is by no means poor, but he is by no means a tycoon anymore.

As for divorcing Kim....remember California has that pesky 50/50 law. So Kim would get 1/2. That's my take on it.

I LOVED Holly & Hef together. I read the CNN article about it and feel bad if what Hef says is true--that he thought they'd announce their split together -a joint statement-apparently he knew this was coming but not that it would be public like this. I love how Mary (his secretary) points out that girls are lined up outside the gate for him. Maybe Barbie will be back?????????

His sons from his wife right now have to be in their teens or pre-teens.

Kendra is really young, did she celebrate her 21st birthday on the show. I always said, Kendra is there not for Hef. Heck remember the golf scene-she was totally flirting with all the guys. I heard she is dating a NFL player now.

Yep she's 21. And yep, she was all over that golf cart. I really didn't like that episode. My favorite is when they went to St. Tropez and Monaco to meet the Prince and they got arrested. Remember that one? I'm going to try out parasailing on my next cruise because of them.

They can giggle and smile all they want about 'loving' him, but they love what he gives them and it's not his heart or what's in his Viagra-accessorized boxers.

I had to laugh when he said that he was down in the dumps and his PA told him to cheer up bec there were 18-19 year olds in line at the gate to be with him. Yeah, because prostituting yourself to Hefner is a much better lifestyle than standing on a streetcorner. It's sad that young women still find prostitution an attractive choice and it's pathetic that a successful man would feel the need to surround himself with prostitutes pretending to care for him.

How do you know that Holly didn't love the man? Because of the age difference? Because of what he does for a living? Unless you know the person personally, those are pretty strong judgements you are tossing around.
