HI, have just booked a late trip to Orlando flying Northwest Air (Delta) for 8 nights going 22nd May.

We are flying Heathrow to MCO via Detroit. Has anyone done this route? What is the connection like? Is there is any inflight entertainment in economy on the Heathrow>Detroit leg??

Thanks v. much

Did this route last Oct half term, usually fly from Manch but could not resist £240 they were offereing.
Best transatlantic flight in over 20 trips, great new plane, fantastic staff who could not do enough, on their feet just about the whole flight. IFE was on demand, lots of choice. Way better than either Virgin or BA.
Only problem is since then they have merged with Delta, no idea how its affected their routes.

Thanks Wayne. We got 4 seats for £1,300. Quite surprised to get them for that price being half term! It's our first indirect flight, usually use Virgin, but a tight budget and late booking meant indirect was the only choice. Never really looked at the various options before and was pleasantly surprised at the choice of airlines and connections (and prices). Hopefully the Delta link up hasn't resulted in changes to the aircraft used for this route.

Thanks again for your comments....
