Heathrow Hotels

Hi,

Our Friends are flying to DLParis for New Year and have a very early morning flight (5am). They were planning to stay overnight in a hotel near Heathrow. They asked me if I knew any, but I have never stayed at a hotel near Heathrow before.

Any Reccomendations?

He is thinking of 'Crowne Plaza' It will cost £77- per night for a quad room (for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant) and includes 15 days free car parking. Is this a good rate - what is the hotel like?

Can't comment on the Hotel - except the Crowne Plaza "brand" is considered to be good quality (usually 4*) - but £77 seems great value - I usually spend that much (or more) in off airport car parking alone, for a fortnight! Looking it that way your stay is free!

i think it's when the dis website is really busy it automatically disables the search function

Holiday Extras is A GREAT site. We have passed it on to our friends and they said there are some really great hotels on there and amazingly good prices. They have just booked Crowne Plaza (AA 4 star!) for 29th December (1 ngt) and it only cost them £77 x 2 (they had to get 2 rooms, because a max of 4 was allowed and they had 3 children) £154 for 2 rooms and 15 days parking sounds great to me!

Thanks Neil for the site, I will definitely bookmark that site for our WDW visit in December!!

Hi we used holidayextras recently and stayed in Le Meridian at Heathrow.We paid £107 for the one night and 15 nights parking.It was excellent value.We had a family suite(2 adults 2 children).The Hoppa bus was a 5 min ride and was £3 per adult and free for the children.Friends have also used this website for Gatwick hotels and were very happy.
