Heathrow Airport Hotels & Car Parking

Anybody got any recommendations ? We'll need a family room (4 of us)

Never flown international from Heathrow before !

Haven't had a family room, but have stayed at the Marriott Heathrow and Marriott Slough Windsor, both lovely. Have also stayed at the Thistle, good but not quite as good, and finally Le Meridian which was my favourite. Next week we could only get reservations at The Holiday Inn Ariel so I'll find out what that is like, but I'm not sure that it will match up to the others. Carolyn

They have quad rooms for £78 at Le Meridien for your date (18th Oct? ) and also list all the other Heathrow hotels.

They came up with the best deals I could find for what we needed.

I booked with ABCHolidatextras a couple of days ago for two weeks in July, flying from Heathrow.

We have a quad room at the Thistle (wondering whether this was such a good choice now!) for £92. The main reason I went for the Thistle was because it was one of only two quoted at the time where the car parking was in the long stay on-site airport car park, so we'd avoid having to get a shuttle from the hotel to check-in. We're flying from Terminal 4 and all the other hotels said we'd need the ?Airport Express? to T1,2,or 3 and then another one to T4 - I'm not familiar with Heathrow, so don't know how much of a pain this would actually be.

ABC Holiday Extras are the same as the people I used, they seem to have a few links.

Could you change Hilary? I definitly saw something along the lines of you could cancel with no questions asked at one of thier links.

Considering the number of families of 4 or more who must fly it can be difficult and expensive to get a family room if your children are too young for their own.

Hilary we stayed at the Thistle, and it was fine honestly. I can't really remember too much about it, but there was everything there that you needed, and the room was comfortable and clean. I flew out of terminal four at Heathrow at Christmas, and the shuttle links are fine, but again my memory is not the best! Carolyn

Hi Tracey,

Whenever we fly from Heathrow we always choose The Crowne Plaza at LHR, and book it with ABC Holiday Extras.

It is a wonderful hotel, the family rooms are extremely spacious and have 2 massive beds and a lovely bathroom. It is excellently sitauted very close to London Heathrow and has a great Indoor Swimming Pool, a shop and a great restaurant and bar.

Highly Recommended.
