So our Welcome Cocktail Party started at 6:30 at Bongo's so the wedding party headed over there after rehearsal to meet with the rest of our guests! DH's parents and aunt decided to invite everyone to the event since they all traveled so far and we were only having 50 guests attend the wedding. It was completely generous of them and everyone had such a good time!

The food was incredible and we had open bar too! We had our own private bar area with tables inside on the top floor then we also had a whole outside patio and bar too. The manager, Tony was awesome and took such good care of all of our guests. Everyone raved about the location, food, and service! If you are looking for a great place to hold a welcome party/rehearsal dinner I would highly recommend Bongos! None of us had been there before but we were all completely satisfied with our choice!

We had passed hors d'oeuvres and this was what we chose for the menu:

COCTEL DE CAMARONES: Jumbo Shrimp Trays Served with Cocktail Sauce
PAPA RELLENA: Breaded Mashed Potato Stuffed Ground Beef Creole
EMPANADAS: Assorted Meat & Chicken Turnovers
MINI BROCHETA DE PALOMILLA: Grilled Palomilla Steak Mini Skewers
CRUDITE TRAYS: Slice Broccoli, Carrots, Celery, Cauliflower Served with a Ranch Dressing
We also had a fruit spread as well, I wish I had pictures!!! The food looked just as good as it tasted!

I had also ordered a groom's cake for Kevin. As he is the biggest Buffalo Bills fan ever, it was an easy choice to make of what it was going to look like! I ordered it from Party Flavors Custom Cakes and they were great! They delivered the cake and it looked and tasted perfectly! I ordered a marble cake with chocolate fudge icing and it was good! The whole cake was gone in a matter of minutes! Kevin was completely surprised and loved it! Tony and his crew cut and served the cake for us at no charge!

After the cake we just mingled and thanked everyone for coming! We handed out our gifts to our wedding party then took some pictures. Kevin got his guy's these freezeable pilsners of their favorite sports teams (they were a big hit) and I got my girl's their jewelry (You'll see it, note: I hate bridesmaid's jewelry!) and I made them all shirts to wear the next morning while we were getting ready!

The balcony had a beautiful view overlooking the water at Downtown Disney, plus there was an awesome breeze that night! A lot of us just hung outside and watched the balloon go up and down! After hanging for a bit, Kevin went back to the hotel to gather up his stuff to stay in his best man Mark's room for the night. Some of the crew went to Hard Rock for a bit before we headed back for the night! Everyone had an awesome time and I couldn't believe I was going to be married the next day!

Yes both our families were extremely generous! I bought the yellow dress from Nordstroms!

So sorry I haven't updated! Things in life have been crazy busy! I got a new job which is less hours and more money!!! Did I mention it's wayyyy less stress too?! Love it! Then Kev's parents and my MOH/best friend Megan came to town for Thanksgiving so we were obusy spending time with them. You may have also noticed my ticker!!! Yep, Kev and I are going back to Disney for 5 days to check out all the Christmas decorations, plus it will be exactly a year since we were engaged in Disneyland! We're both wicked excited to get away for a few days!

Anyway back to my TR, Carolyn Allen's were at our room by 9AM on Saturday morning to steam my gown and all the girl's bridesmaid dresses!!! They all looked beautiful and we couldn't wait to get them on!

By 11, the team from Beaute Speciale showed up. We had both Laine and Rosie who were incredible! Not only did they do an awesome job on our hair and make-up but they were hilarious too! We were all cracking up laughing the whole time, especially at Rosie who was extremely witty! All of us girls, including Addi & Emma were sporting the tanks we made! They looked wicked cute! You can also see the jewelry I bought for the girls to wear. I HATE bridal jewelry because I feel like you only wear it once then its pointless so I bought them Chaps bracelets and matching earrings, just simple silver balls. They loved them!

We were all starving so my brother was nice enough to go to Subway and pick us all up some food. I didn't really eat much as my nerves were starting to build up which was a mistake because I was starving by the time we got to the reception, but oh well!

Around 2:30 both the flowers and Misty and Nelio showed up! By this time, I will admit, I was completely overwhelmed but sooo very excited to be getting married!!!

So sorry I've been MIA but I am back and determined to finish my TR!!! Thanks for being patient!

So we left off with the girls and I finishing up our hair and make-up. Then Nelio and Misty had arrived, it was all happening!

Literally, the second Nelio & Misty walked in, so did Disney Floral! I have to say that working with Rose was great! She is an EXTREMELY busy lady however she was always prompt answering my e-mails and questions. I had almost changed my mind about my bouquet but I'm glad I didn't. Once the Disney Floral team handed it over to me, I fell in love!!!

I couldn't wait to show my MOH her bouquet which I let Rose make a few special touches to. Unlike the rest of the BM's, her bouquet had smaller darker roses within the bouquet and had a hidden mickey on the handle! I thought she was going to cry once I gave it to her!

All the BM's were happy with the way their bouquets turned out. I know Disney Floral can be expensive but I was happy I had them hold small bouquets as I lovedddd the way they turned out in pictures!

I was so excited over the actual bouquets, that I completely forgot about the beautiful orchids for my hair! There was more than enough so I gave one to my MOH to wear as well. Laney got right to work placing them beautifully in my hair, then on went the veil!!!
