This certainly is tragic, but then again the death of ANY 28 year old with a promising career is a tragic event. Just because this 28 year old happened to have a highly visible promising career doesn't make his death any more or less tragic than anybody else's death.
They just had an interview with an editor from People Magazine on the Today show and it really irritated me because it was so obvious they were trying to titilate the viewers. The editor kept insinuating things about Mr. Ledger's mental status and drug use but then would try to backpedal and say "oh but I'm not going to try to diagnose him" and crap like that. I really did not like the way he would make those insinuations and then try to cover his assets. Sickening.
