Heartbroken - MNSSHP

Help! We're going to WDW from 10/30-11/4 with 2 DS! Just booked the flights and hotels last week. Found out this week that we can't go to MNSSHP! It would have been our first HP! AND it's my 37th birthday on Halloween too!

My heart is broken! Can anyone help? I have to go! Can you say scalp? Please let me know if there's anything I can do!

I remember last year that tickets were for sale on e-bay. I just looked now and they only show one auction for 10/28. I don't think ticket sales can be done through these boards, but maybe if you put a thread inquiring about tickets for 10/31, someone can point you in the right direction.

I remember someone posting on one of the DIS boards that they had tickets for another night that they weren't gong to be able to use. That post was not deleted, maybe someone will see you're post and help you out. Plus, keep checking e-bay. The closer it gets to the day they may try to sell them.

I would also recommend eBay but be very careful!

Michelle, I agree about being careful. I saw on one of these boards where someone ordered tickets, I think, off of YAhoo auctions and received everything but their tickets. Account was immediately closed also. Be careful, but I hope you get lucky! I have my tickets for Oct 8, but can't imagine how hard halloween would be to come by.

Thanks! Now I'm sad and scared to get them from ebay! I have one possibility I'm waiting on. A co-worker (and good friend) has a relative at WDW who MIGHT be able to get them. I'll probably know next week, but in the meantime, I'm going to keep looking!

There has to be some real Halloween magic out there for me!

No, can you believe it? I'd have thought for sure they would have one Friday Saturday and Sunday! When I called about the tickets, I asked the CM why not the 30th. She didn't know and just said they didn't schedule one.

Oh well!

i wouldn't give up on ebay if tickets show up. There are ways to protect yourself (pay with a credit card on paypal, only go with someone with a great rating, etc.)

I both sell a little bit on ebay, and have gotten some priceless things (a replacement for a very special broken unicorn and others) and have had a few flaky buyers but overwhelmingly positive experiences.

I really appreciate the ideas and support. I'm still holding out hope and will continue to look everywhere!

But so far, I'm not out any $$ and if we can't go, I've got good reason to say I want to go again next Halloween! Just hope I can get as good airfare prices as I got this year! $98r/t! You can't beat that!

Because it's off season, Saturday night is usually the only late night and the only night Spectromagic generally runs. If they held the party on Saturdays, those Disney guests that didn't want to pay for an extra event would have no opportunity to see Spectro or enjoy later hours at the park. As far as I know the only time they have MNSSHP on a Saturday is when Halloween falls on a Saturday.

I just sent back 4 tickets for 10/31 (we had to cancel our fall trip ) Maybe there is a waitlist you can get on. When I called they told me they don't accept returned tickets unless the night is sold out which the 31st is. Just a thought.
