DAY 3 Magic Kingdom (my favorite!!!!)
The magic lives! After MVMCP (long night last night), we slept in a little (for us) until 7:30/8:00 and made it to MK by 9 or so. We saw LOTS of characters in Town Square!! Baloo, Gibson, Pinnochio, Gepetto, Timon, Hook, Prince John, Smee, Princesses, Daisy...was we walked down Main Street, we met the Mayor! (That night as we were leaving, we looked out from the monorail and saw a limosine. DS7 said maybe the Mayor was in it)
We got our picture taken with the Castle in the background then headed to the Castle for CRT!!! The Fairy Godmother was there greeting guests and signing autographs. We were seated (after a pretty long wait compared to everywhere else we had been). The inside of the castle was wonderful. The breakfast was GOOD (I had read on the boards that it was mediocre at best). The Princesses were wonderful even though we were at the tail end of the morning. We saw Mary Poppins, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White & of course Cinderella. Snow White stole the show for our children. They loved her. My family informed Cinderella that she was my favorite. She could see I was misty eyed and she told me she was glad to be a part of making my dreams come true! It was a magical time.
We left there for Philharmagic. It was full of tricks. We rode Peter Pan, It's a Small World, BTMRR & SM (DS8/DS7 wouldn't ride those). We went to Tom Sawyer Island and explored there. It was a nice time. Then on to PofC (kids loved it), Jungle Cruise, Snow White, Winnie-the Pooh, Mad Hatter's Tea Party & Toon Town. DS7 got his face painted like the Genie in Aladdin. Explored Mickey & Minnie's houses. We ate at Tony's where the whole restaurant helped us celebrate DS7's bday (again). Then we split up so DD & I could shop then ride SM one more time. The boys wanted to ride Buzz again. DH sneakily purchased a blown glass slipper on Main Street and had it shipped home for me for Christmas! I bought myself a Cinderella snowglobe. DD purchased a earrings/necklace set. We met again for WISHES. So magical even the second time! This night there was no Tinkerbelle nor were there the "surround" fireworks that there were during MVMCP. We went back to HIFS for face painting and repainting and winding down. I had a magical day. It was perfect--great weather and low crowds. DH said he had fun, too.
